Agencia Peruana de Noticias PRENSAPERU.PE https://prensaperu.pe Twitter: @prensaperupe A través del Fondo Metropolitano de Inversiones (Invermet), la Municipalidad de Lima inició la ejecución del proyecto del Centro Integral de Atención del Adulto Mayor (CIAM) Sector San Gabriel, en Villa María del Triunfo, a fin de ofrecer infraestructura de primera y ambientes adecuados a los ciudadanos.

El proyecto incluye la implementación de equipos y mobiliario, y busca fortalecer las relaciones entre los vecinos, así como lograr su desarrollo integral y mejorar la salud de los adultos mayores.

El CIAM, que beneficiará a más de 2,200 vecinos del distrito, tiene como objetivo mejorar el proceso de envejecimiento, mediante la creación de programas y talleres de integración que promoverán la participación activa y organizada de los futuros asistentes al centro.

La obra contempla tres niveles y una azotea; por su parte, el sótano será destinado a los talleres recreacionales, gastronómicos y culturales. Asimismo, habrá un comedor, un área de salud y una zona de asesoramiento, entre otros espacios en los primeros niveles.

Los ambientes están diseñados para adultos mayores y personas con discapacidad, pues se han considerado rampas y un ascensor, además de ambientes y pasillos amplios.

La Municipalidad de Lima ratifica su compromiso de crear proyectos con un diseño inclusivo, a fin de mejorar la calidad de vida de niños, jóvenes, adultos, adultos mayores y personas con discapacidad.
