El jefe de Estado lideró esta mañana la ceremonia por el inicio del Año Escolar 2022 de la Red de Colegios de Alto Rendimiento (COAR), en la sede del COAR Lima, ubicada en el distrito de Chaclacayo, acompañado por el ministro de Educación, Rosendo Serna.

Durante su intervención, sostuvo que hoy es un día muy importante para la comunidad educativa, pues se dio inicio al año escolar en las dos últimas regiones del país que faltaban, Apurímac y La Libertad, y destacó que con ello “completamos el retorno a la presencialidad al cien por ciento en todo el territorio nacional”.

“De esta manera, cumplimos el compromiso de volver a las aulas. El pasado 14 de marzo se inició el año escolar en 19 regiones del país y el lunes 21 hicieron lo propio en otras cuatro regiones, entre ellas la de Cusco, Madre de Dios y Pasco”, anotó.

Afirmó que se trata “de un logro de todos los peruanos, del Ministerio de Educación, de los directores regionales, de las ugeles, de los maestros, de los padres de familia y de nuestros estudiantes del país, quienes retornan a las aulas luego de dos años de pandemia”.

El presidente Castillo felicitó a la Red de Colegios de Alto Rendimiento por la gran labor y el compromiso asumido para que el retorno a clases presenciales sea una realidad.

“Hoy, 7,872 estudiantes sobresalientes de tercero, cuarto y quinto de secundaria a nivel nacional de los COAR inician clases presenciales de forma segura, flexible y descentralizada, con los protocolos de bioseguridad, para garantizar el beneficio y el bienestar de todos los alumnos, de los maestros y de toda la comunidad educativa”, resaltó.

Indicó que los COAR brindan un modelo de educación con altos estándares de calidad que permitevfortalecer el potencial académico, artístico y deportivo de los estudiantes, para formarlos comovpersonas íntegras y comprometidas con el desarrollo de su comunidad y del país.

“Como maestro, padre de familia y presidente, he asumido un compromiso con el país para construirbuna educación inclusiva y de calidad en beneficio de todos”, enfatizó y remarcó que ese compromisobse mantendrá firme hasta el último día de su gobierno, el 28 de julio de 2026, tal y como lo hanbdecidido los ciudadanos del país en las urnas.

Tras recalcar que la educación tiene que ser una política de Estado, instó al ministro Serna a atender a los jóvenes estudiantes de los COAR “para que tengan la oportunidad de seguir llevando sus estudios y sean los mejores profesionales, abriendo los espacios de las universidades del país”.

Asimismo, formuló un llamado a la población para realizar una cruzada nacional por la educación, sin discriminación, y remarcó que la educación también tiene que ser un derecho constitucional del pueblo.

“Y como derecho constitucional tiene la oportunidad de ser educado el hijo del carretillero, del heladero, del campesino, del obrero, del comerciante, del policía y del mismo maestro, de todos y cada uno de los peruanos”, apuntó y señaló que la educación debe ser inclusiva, abierta, con libertad.

“Llamo al pueblo, a las fuerzas políticas y sociales, a los trabajadores, a los jóvenes del país para seguir trabajando y que el crecimiento vaya de la mano con el desarrollo, para construir un país más justo, más equilibrado, más equitativo para todos los peruanos”, puntualizó.
