“Se comunicará el presente acuerdo al presidente de la República para que se cumpla con lo dispuesto en el artículo 132 de la Constitución Política del Perú y el inciso b) del artículo 86 del Reglamento del Congreso de la República”, precisó la titular del Parlamento Nacional, Maricarmen Alva Prieto, luego de anunciar el resultado de la votación.
En consecuencia, el ministro censurado deberá renunciar y el presidente de la República aceptar la dimisión dentro de las 72 horas siguientes.
El pedido de censura estuvo planteado en la Moción de Orden del Día nro. 2224, presentado en forma multipartidaria, y que fue debatida por más de dos horas por la Representación Nacional.
La referida moción se sustenta en la falta de idoneidad del ministro de Salud por promover la venta de agua arracimada atribuyéndole propiedades medicinales que no estaban comprobadas ni certificadas, por promocionar el diagnóstico de cáncer de cuello uterino sin tener la especialidad de Ginecología u Oncología, por supervisar personalmente el traslado y estado de salud de una menor y llevarla en brazos lo cual denota el desconocimiento de las funciones como titular del sector.
Así también porque -según medios de comunicación- Condori Machado se encuentra investigado actualmente por delitos de corrupción cuando ocupó el cargo de director de la red de salud de Chanchamayo en el año 2019, entre otros argumentos.

The aforementioned motion is based on the lack of suitability of the Minister of Health for promoting the sale of clustered water attributing to it medicinal properties that were not proven or certified, for promoting the diagnosis of cervical cancer without having the specialty of Gynecology or Oncology, for personally supervise the transfer and state of health of a minor and carry her in his arms, which denotes ignorance of the functions as head of the sector.
Also because -according to the media- Condori Machado is currently being investigated for corruption offenses when he held the position of director of the Chanchamayo health network in 2019, among other arguments.
