El Domingo 27 de Marzo en horas de la tarde con la asistencia de autoridades del distrito de Salas se inauguró el pozo de agua en que abastecerá de agua potable a más de 400 pobladores que habitan en ese sector rural del distrito.

El economista Tony Mesones Flores, Alcalde de Salas, el Teniente Alcalde Revelino De la Cruz Tojas, la regidora Rosa Elvira Fernández Olivera, el Juez de Paz, Teodoro Sánchez Carlos acompañaron a Walter Tafur Mesta, líder local de la Iglesia de Jesucristo en Lambayeque en la inauguración del pozo con el agradecimiento de las familias beneficiadas.

“Pobladores que por más de cien años consumían agua en malas condiciones, ahora cuentan con agua de alta calidad debidamente tratadas y potabilizada” indico la institución municipal en sus redes sociales.

Los dirigentes vecinales William Ordoñez Pravia, Armando Rojas Santisteban y Asunción Barbadillo Gaspar agradecieron la iniciativa que hizo realidad las obras que por muchos años necesitaban y que ha recibido la Junta Administradora del Servicio de Saneamiento JASS de Tempon Bajo.

El alcalde agradeció la ayuda de la Iglesia de Jesucristo y mencionó que este tipo de cooperación ayuda a la población a que sea parte del crecimiento del lugar donde viven.

El acceso al agua potable mejora la salud y la higiene de la familia. La Iglesia de Jesucristo con su programa de Servicios Humanitarios ayuda a las comunidades a establecer pozos y otros sistemas de agua para proporcionar acceso a agua potable.
