Al respecto el mandatario saludo al acuerdo alcanzado y recordó a los trabajadores del sector transporte que el dialogo es la mejor vía para lograr soluciones.

“Hemos suscrito este compromiso y esperamos que conjuntamente ustedes con el Gobierno saquen adelante el tema de transporte”, enfatizó el jefe de Estado durante la reunión con transportistas en Palacio de Gobierno.

Sostuvo que no existe la necesidad de tomar las calles y plazas cuando hay un Gobierno que atiende los pedidos de los trabajadores. Recordó que ante cualquier problemática pueden manifestar sus demandas mediante la PCM o los ministerios respectivos.

“Este país necesita de la unidad de los trabajadores y del gobierno. Vengan cuántas veces gusten para conversar porque es Palacio es la casa de ustedes, de todos los peruanos”, remarcó.

De la misma manera, hizo un llamado a los gremios agricultores del país para espacios de diálogo y entendimiento con el fin de sacar adelante este país. “Detrás de cada uno de ustedes no solamente hay una organización si no hay algo más sagrado qué es una familia”, puntualizó.

Cabe indicar que el documento, suscrito en Palacio de Gobierno, establece que los gremios se comprometen a seguir dialogando con los canales formales y mantener la paz social en todo el territorio nacional.

En tanto, los representantes del Gobierno expresaron su solidaridad con las demandas sociales y aseguran que no habrá persecución de ningún dirigente.

Entre los pedidos de los gremios figuran la igualdad de condiciones en el servicio de transporte internacional, la evaluación de la obligatoriedad de la reserva de carga y tabla de valores referenciales, la verificación del cumplimiento de labores de mantenimiento en las vías licitadas por parte de las empresas concesionadas, entre otras.

Participaron en la reunión el ministro de Transportes y Comunicaciones, Nicolás Bustamante; el ministro de Desarrollo Agrario y Riego, Oscar Zea; y el ministro de Energía y Minas, Carlos Palacios.

Asimismo, el jefe de la Superintendencia de Transporte Terrestre de Personas, Carga y Mercancías (SUTRAN), Guillermo Gouro; la gobernadora regional de Arequipa, Kimmerlee Gutiérrez; y los congresistas Jaime Quito y Edwin Martínez.

Por parte de los transportistas de carga, participaron los representantes de los gremios Unión de transportistas de carga pesada de Puno, Gremio de transportistas de Cusco, Gremio de Transportistas de Ucayali, Gremio de transportistas asociados de Andahuaylas y Asociación de Transportistas y Conductores Profesionales del Perú.

Además, Asociación Cambajas, ASOTRAPE, GTC DEL PERÚ, GNTC-AREQUIPA, CONCA PERÚ, ASOTRAPA y gremios de transportistas de Ayacucho, Juliaca y Arequipa.

He argued that there is no need to take over the streets and squares when there is a government that attends to the requests of the workers. He recalled that in the face of any problem they can express their demands through the PCM or the respective ministries.

“This country needs the unity of the workers and the government. Come as many times as you like to talk because the Palace is your home, of all Peruvians”, he remarked.

In the same way, he called on the country’s agricultural unions for spaces for dialogue and understanding in order to move this country forward. “Behind each one of you there is not only an organization if there is something more sacred, which is a family,” he said.

It should be noted that the document, signed at the Government Palace, establishes that the unions undertake to continue dialoguing with formal channels and maintain social peace throughout the national territory.

Meanwhile, the representatives of the Government expressed their solidarity with the social demands and assure that there will be no persecution of any leader.

Among the requests of the unions are equal conditions in the international transport service, the evaluation of the obligatory nature of the cargo reservation and table of reference values, the verification of the fulfillment of maintenance tasks on the tendered roads by the concession companies, among others.
