Desde Samugari en el VRAEM, donde se realizaba el VII Consejo de Ministros Descentralizado, el jefe de Estado, Pedro Castillo, dispuso que el Ministerio de Economía y Finanzas inyecte presupuesto para la creación de dicha unidad ejecutora.

“Corresponde al MEF, dirigentes, gobernadores y alcaldes ponerse de acuerdo. Las puertas de Palacio de Gobierno están siempre abiertas para trabajar a favor de los pueblos”, manifestó.

Agregó “reitero, señor ministro de Economía, que se haga inmediatamente la convocatoria para que de una vez se implemente esta unidad ejecutora y así atender a toda esta zona del Vraem”, recalcó.

Sostuvo que su Gobierno está trabajando políticas de Estado con diferentes ministerios para continuar la lucha contra los remanentes del terrorismo, combate al narcotráfico y el cierre de brechas sociales. “Serán erradicadas con políticas de Estado que estamos articulando con los diferentes ministerios. Hay que convertir al Vraem en una tierra de progreso y esperanza”, enfatizó.

En otro momento, el mandatario sostuvo que el Vraem no es un problema, sino una oportunidad por lo que instó a la empresa privada a invertir.

“Invito a la empresa privada a dirigir su mirada a este valle. Creo que ha llegado la oportunidad de esta importante zona, productiva de hombres valientes, trabajadores, luchadores, como es el Vraem”, subrayó.

De otro lado, el presidente Castillo, se mostró a favor de la construcción de la Universidad Autónoma del Vraem y dijo que desde el Gobierno se brindará todas las facilidades para que se concrete.

“Exhorto al ministro de Educación, Rosendo Serna a constituir una comisión que permita concretar dicha propuesta para beneficio de los hijos de los agricultores y cafetaleros de este valle”, refirió.

He maintained that his Government is working on State policies with different ministries to continue the fight against the remnants of terrorism, the fight against drug trafficking and the closing of social gaps. “They will be eradicated with State policies that we are articulating with the different ministries. Vraem must be converted into a land of progress and hope”, he emphasized.

At another time, the president argued that the Vraem is not a problem, but an opportunity, which is why he urged the private company to invest.

“I invite private companies to look at this valley. I believe that the opportunity has come for this important area, productive of brave men, workers, fighters, such as the Vraem”, he stressed.

On the other hand, President Castillo was in favor of the construction of the Autonomous University of Vraem and said that the Government will provide all the facilities to make it happen.

“I exhort the Minister of Education, Rosendo Serna, to set up a commission that will make it possible to carry out this proposal for the benefit of the children of farmers and coffee growers in this valley,” he said.
