Precisó que en ese Gabinete Binacional, se acordó con el presidente de Ecuador Guillermo Lasso, poner en agenda el proyecto Puyango Tumbes, para resolver la contaminación del agua. “Es un tema preocupante y debe ser asumido como Estado, junto a las autoridades regionales y locales”, remarcó.

Durante su participación en el X Consejo de Ministros Descentralizado en Tumbes, el mandatario informó que el canciller César Landa presentará en los próximos días ante el Consejo de Ministros las acciones concretas para asegurar a la población tumbesina agua y un medio ambiente limpio.

“Gobernador, alcaldes, dejo en manos de ustedes, junto con los técnicos, designar a los representantes para el equipo que nos ha pedido el hermano presidente de Ecuador y así ver la contaminación del agua. Le corresponde al canciller atender el problema minero, agrícola y la contaminación del río Tumbes”, refirió a las autoridades que estuvieron presentes en la reunión.

De otro lado, el jefe de Estado indicó que, pese a algunos cuestionamientos sobre los viajes de los miembros del Gabinete Ministerial, continuarán realizándose los consejos de ministros descentralizados, “cueste lo que cueste, para escuchar al pueblo y atender sus demandas”.

Refirió que este mecanismo de diálogo con las autoridades y la población permite al gobierno darse cuenta de los cuellos de botella y los pasos engorrosos que dificultan la atención a las regiones. Una vez que se culminen estas reuniones, se presentarán al Congreso proyectos de ley para atender las preocupaciones de los peruanos.

“Ojalá el Congreso de luz verde para que tengan viabilidad los proyectos que pide el pueblo, las organizaciones en su conjunto”, apuntó tras reiterar a los ministros de Estado que atiendan en forma personal a las autoridades regionales y locales.

On the other hand, the head of state indicated that, despite some questions about the trips of the members of the Ministerial Cabinet, decentralized councils of ministers will continue to be held, “whatever it takes, to listen to the people and meet their demands.”

He referred that this mechanism of dialogue with the authorities and the population allows the government to realize the bottlenecks and cumbersome steps that make it difficult to serve the regions. Once these meetings are completed, bills will be presented to Congress to address the concerns of Peruvians.

“Hopefully Congress will give the green light so that the projects requested by the people, the organizations as a whole, are viable,” he said after reiterating to the ministers of State that they attend regional and local authorities personally.
