En la región La Libertad, se ha logrado que el 100 % de las familias usuarias del Servicio de Acompañamiento a Familias (SAF) retorne satisfactoriamente a la presencialidad, mediante las visitas domiciliarias de las (os) facilitadoras (es) capacitados para orientarlas sobre prácticas de crianza en el hogar, que potencian el desarrollo infantil temprano de sus niñas y niños menores de 36 meses de edad.

El SAF atiende a un total de 7654 niñas y niños de la región La Libertad, en condición de vulnerabilidad, pobreza y pobreza extrema, que viven junto a sus madres, padres y/o cuidadores principales en 36 distritos rurales de las provincias de Bolívar, Julcán, Otuzco, Pataz, Sánchez Carrión, Santiago de Chuco y Gran Chimú.

Lourdes Sevilla Carnero, directora ejecutiva de Cuna Más, agradeció a las familias usuarias por la confianza brindada al programa social, cuya atención presencial se reactivó bajo estrictas medidas de prevención sanitaria de la COVID-19, así como otras enfermedades prevalentes en la primera infancia.

REAPERTURA DE LOS CENTROS INFANTILES DE ATENCIÓN INTEGRAL
En cuanto al Servicio de Cuidado Diurno (SCD), que permite a las niñas y niños entre los 6 y 36 meses de edad acudir a centros infantiles de atención integral (CIAI) del programa social para recibir atención en alimentación, juego, aprendizaje y desarrollo de habilidades, mientras sus mamás, papás o cuidadores principales trabajan, a la fecha se han reactivado 13 CIAIs en la región, ubicados en las provincias de Trujillo, Chepén y Pacasmayo, en los cuales se atiende de manera presencial a un total de 202 usuarias y usuarios.

Estos establecimientos son los CIAI Casitas de sorpresas, Miguel Grau, Nuestra Señora de Las Mercedes, Dulce amanecer y AA.HH. El Milagro – Sector 1, en la provincia de Trujillo; CIAI Alto San Idelfonso, Las estrellitas de Pueblo Nuevo y El Progreso, en la provincia de Chepén; y Las Malvinas, Rodolfo Gonzales Aguinaga, Pakatnamu, Ciudad de Dios y Miramar, en la provincia de Pacasmayo.

“Desde que retornó al cuidado presencial, cada día veo cómo Sofía aprende a relacionarse mejor con sus compañeros, y fortalece su aprendizaje emocional”, comentó Claudia Villanueva Mendoza, madre de Sofía Rafaela, usuaria del SCD en esta última provincia.

La reactivación de la atención presencial del Servicio de Cuidado Diurno en la región La Libertad continuará durante los próximos meses.

REOPENING OF CHILDREN’S COMPREHENSIVE CARE CENTERS
Regarding the Day Care Service (SCD), which allows girls and boys between 6 and 36 months of age to go to comprehensive child care centers (CIAI) of the social program to receive attention in terms of food, play, learning and development of skills, while their mothers, fathers or main caregivers work, to date 13 CIAIs have been reactivated in the region, located in the provinces of Trujillo, Chepén and Pacasmayo, in which a total of 202 users are attended in person and users.

These establishments are the CIAI Little Surprise Houses, Miguel Grau, Our Lady of Las Mercedes, Sweet Dawn and AA.HH. El Milagro – Sector 1, in the province of Trujillo; CIAI ​​Alto San Idelfonso, Las estrellitas de Pueblo Nuevo and El Progreso, in the province of Chepén; and Las Malvinas, Rodolfo Gonzales Aguinaga, Pakatnamu, Ciudad de Dios and Miramar, in the province of Pacasmayo.

“Since she returned to face-to-face care, every day I see how Sofía learns to relate better to her peers, and strengthens her emotional learning,” said Claudia Villanueva Mendoza, mother of Sofía Rafaela, a SCD user in the latter province.
