Premio Nacional Ambiental Antonio Brack Egg Edición Bicentenario, recibió la Municipalidad de Lima en la categoría Conocimiento Ambiental.

Agencia Peruana de Noticias PRENSAPERU.PE https://prensaperu.pe Twitter: @prensaperupe La Municipalidad de Lima ganó el Premio Nacional Ambiental Antonio Brack Egg Edición Bicentenario, en la categoría Conocimiento Ambiental, otorgado por el Ministerio del Ambiente, por su aporte a la ciudadanía mediante procesos educativos y comunicacionales.

La teniente alcaldesa, Jheydi Quiroz Palacios, recibió el reconocimiento en representación del alcalde de Lima, Miguel Romero Sotelo, durante la ceremonia que se llevó a cabo en Palacio de Gobierno.

La experiencia ganadora, “Escuela Tejiendo Vínculos: transformando espacios públicos amigables y que educan ambientalmente en articulación con promotores ambientales”, fue liderada por el Programa Municipal Educca – Lima, Limeños al Bicentenario, Urban95 y Anidare.

En dicha iniciativa participaron promotores ambientales juveniles y comunitarios, que fueron capacitados para incorporar el enfoque de primera infancia en el liderazgo ambiental. Así, se intervinieron cuatro espacios públicos: circuito infantil Nicolás Araníbar, parque Primavera (Cercado de Lima), parque Villa del Norte (Los Olivos) y parque Los Jazmines (Villa El Salvador).

MENCIÓN HONROSA EN LA CATEGORÍA PERÚ INCLUSIVO
La iniciativa “Participación ciudadana inclusiva e intercultural en la evaluación de los instrumentos de gestión ambiental para infraestructuras de residuos sólidos de gestión municipal de Lima Metropolitana” obtuvo una mención honrosa, en la categoría Perú Inclusivo, por promover los procesos de evaluación de instrumentos de gestión ambiental.

En esta octava edición del Premio Nacional Ambiental se recibieron 200 postulaciones de todo el país; 15 de esas experiencias resultaron ganadoras y 11 recibieron menciones honrosas.

De esta manera la Municipalidad de Lima reafirma su compromiso de desarrollar una gestión ambiental que promueva la participación ciudadana y contribuya a la toma de decisiones sobre el diseño, desarrollo responsable y sostenible de la misma.

The winning experience, “School Weaving Links: transforming friendly public spaces that educate environmentally in coordination with environmental promoters”, was led by the Municipal Program Educca – Lima, Limeños al Bicentenario, Urban95 and Anidare.

Youth and community environmental promoters participated in this initiative, who were trained to incorporate the early childhood approach into environmental leadership. Thus, four public spaces were intervened: Nicolás Araníbar children’s circuit, Primavera park (Cercado de Lima), Villa del Norte park (Los Olivos) and Los Jazmines park (Villa El Salvador).

HONORABLE MENTION IN THE INCLUSIVE PERU CATEGORY
The initiative “Inclusive and intercultural citizen participation in the evaluation of environmental management instruments for solid waste infrastructures of municipal management of Metropolitan Lima” obtained an honorable mention, in the Inclusive Peru category, for promoting the evaluation processes of management instruments environmental.

In this eighth edition of the National Environmental Award, 200 applications were received from all over the country; 15 of those experiences were winners and 11 received honorable mentions.

In this way, the Municipality of Lima reaffirms its commitment to develop an environmental management that promotes citizen participation and contributes to decision-making on the design, responsible and sustainable development of the same.
