“Qué culpa tenemos nosotros de que aquellos partidos tradicionales que tuvieron la oportunidad de construir el país, de dirigirlo, no decidieron sacarse los zapatos y bajar a los lugares más recónditos. Hoy tenemos la oportunidad de escuchar a la sociedad civil, a los dirigentes, padres de familia, autoridades”, añadió durante la clausura del XII Consejo de Ministros Descentralizado.

Desde Huánuco, y ante algunos cuestionamientos a este tipo de reuniones, el mandatario refirió que las puertas del Estado están para cambiar la realidad de los pueblos que no fueron atendidos durante años.

“En todo el Perú no hay ningún sitio donde un alcalde no se queje, pida agua y desagüe, levantan su voz, por eso hemos tomado la decisión de llevar a las regiones este tipo de Consejos de Ministros Descentralizados”, indicó.

Agregó, que este tipo de reuniones son los espacios adecuados para escuchar a las autoridades regionales y locales, para recoger sus preocupaciones y atender sus demandas de forma intergubernamental.

“Este es el espacio que hemos encontrado, muchas veces las autoridades han ido a tocar las puertas de los ministerios y han vuelto con la desesperanza, hoy vienen los ministros de Estado para escucharlos y atenderlos”, subrayó.

El jefe de Estado, pidió también a los ministerios no rechazar los proyectos que presentan las autoridades, sino, por el contrario, apoyarlos para que se encaminen y mejoren los niveles de inversión pública.

Finalmente, el presidente Castillo agradeció la altura del diálogo y de la participación de las autoridades y representantes de la sociedad civil.

He added that these types of meetings are the appropriate spaces to listen to regional and local authorities, to collect their concerns and address their demands in an intergovernmental manner.

“This is the space that we have found, many times the authorities have gone to knock on the doors of the ministries and have returned with despair, today the ministers of State come to listen and attend to them,” he stressed.

The head of state also asked the ministries not to reject the projects presented by the authorities, but, on the contrary, to support them so that they are directed and improve the levels of public investment.

Finally, President Castillo thanked the level of dialogue and the participation of the authorities and representatives of civil society.
