Pedro Castillo construiremos 1,083 puentes y caminos vecinales, 90 proyectos de agua potable y 43 programas de mejoramiento de barrios.

En tal sentido, reveló que se construirán 1,083 puentes y caminos viales, mediante un convenio entre el Ministerio de Transportes y Comunicaciones (MTC) y el Ministerio de Defensa (MINDEF) en el que se invertirá 700 millones de soles y contará con la participación de los batallones de ingeniería de las Fuerzas Armadas.

“Estas obras permitirán que nuestros niños lleguen con más facilidad a los colegios y que los agricultores trasladen sus productos a los mercados. Mejoraremos las condiciones de vida de los peruanos y avanzaremos en el cierre de brechas sociales”, refirió ante más de 200 alcaldes y alcaldesas de diferentes partes del país que participaron en un encuentro en San Borja.

Además, el mandatario señaló que mediante el programa “Perú en Marcha”, que ya se encuentra en ejecución, se invertirá 520 millones de soles para 90 proyectos de agua potable y saneamiento básico en zonas urbanas y rurales. Se implementarán también 43 proyectos de mejoramiento de barrios, que incluyen pistas, veredas, parques y losas deportivas a nivel nacional.

Al respecto, el jefe de Estado sostuvo que con estos proyectos se generarán más de 11 mil puestos de trabajo que permitirá mejorar la calidad de vida de 144 mil peruanos.

Hizo un llamado a los alcaldes y alcaldesas a que trabajen con transparencia y sin corrupción.

“Señores alcaldes el gobierno está comprometido en seguir apoyándolos, pero debemos ejecutar las obras con celeridad y transparencia. Hay que entrar y salir con las manos limpias”, apuntó.

SEGURIDAD CIUDADANA Y DESTRABE DE PROYECTOS
Sobre la seguridad ciudadana, el presidente Castillo informó que es positivo el balance de las operaciones desplegadas por la Policía Nacional y las Fuerzas Armadas en aquellas ciudades que fueron declaradas en emergencia.

En ese sentido, se comprometió ampliar dichas declaratorias en otras ciudades en coordinación con las autoridades locales que lo requieran a fin de hacerle frente a la delincuencia”, subrayó el presidente Castillo.

Finalmente, refirió que actualmente existen más de 1,700 obras paralizadas, por más de 12 mil millones de soles, que esperan destrabar para ponerlos al servicio de la población.
