Alcalde de Lima Miguel Romero, se reunió en palacio de gobierno con el presidente Pedro Castillo para viabilizar proyectos en bien de la capital.

Miguel Romero Sotelo, sostuvo al comenzar la noche en la víspera, una reunión con el presidente de la República, Pedro Castillo Terrones, con el objetivo de exponer un conjunto de propuestas para la ejecución de acciones urgentes en beneficio de la capital, las cuales requieren la intervención y el compromiso del Gobierno Nacional.

“Hemos abordado temas de nuestra ciudad, en los que el municipio de Lima requiere el apoyo del Gobierno Nacional”, enfatizó el burgomaestre al término de la cita, donde realizó una exposición sobre la importancia del enfoque geopolítico y la planificación territorial, regional y local para la solución de los problemas de Lima.

SISTEMA INTERMODAL Y AGUA PARA LOS AA.HH.
En declaraciones a la prensa, el arquitecto Romero explicó que el presidente Castillo estuvo abierto a todas las propuestas, en especial la referida a la Vía de los Emprendedores, interconexión de 42 kilómetros de extensión, desde el futuro megapuerto de Chancay hacia las zonas populares, donde están los microempresarios de Comas, Independencia, San Juan de Lurigancho, Carabayllo y Ancón.

“Le hemos solicitado al presidente que el proyecto, obra y supervisión sean financiados por el Ministerio de Transportes y Comunicaciones. Nosotros, en el municipio, con la Ordenanza N.° 2343, ya planificamos el futuro con un sistema intermodal para Lima Metropolitana, como se merece”, dijo.

También señaló que durante la reunión se hizo mención al proyecto de implementación de telecabinas para la integración del transporte rápido, de forma tal que se una la zona sur de Lima con la Línea 1 del Metro de Lima.

La autoridad municipal indicó, asimismo, que se está elaborando un plan de mediano plazo para poder sacar adelante el tema del agua en beneficio de la población. “El agua es vida y queremos salir airosos de este tema. Agua para nuestros asentamientos humanos es lo más importante que estamos viendo en esta etapa final de nuestro municipio de Lima”, adelantó la autoridad edil.

PARTICIPACIÓN EN EL CONSEJO NACIONAL DE SEGURIDAD CIUDADANA
A su salida de Palacio de Gobierno, el alcalde de Lima precisó que otro de los temas que se abordó fue la inseguridad ciudadana. “Para poder controlar la inseguridad ciudadana estamos planteando un patrullaje integrado entre la PNP y el Serenazgo de todos los distritos capitalinos, de tal manera que contemos con una cobertura sin fronteras”, informó e indicó que el jefe de Estado lo invitó a participar en la próxima reunión del Consejo Nacional de Seguridad Ciudadana.

REUNIONES DE TRABAJO
Acompañado por el gerente municipal, Neptalí Sánchez, el arquitecto Romero Sotelo resaltó que el presidente Castillo valoró las propuestas que le fueron presentadas. En ese sentido, dijo que sostendrá reuniones con los ministros de Transportes y Comunicaciones –con quien ya tuvo un primer encuentro esta semana–, de Vivienda, Construcción y Saneamiento, y del Interior. “Vamos a tener reuniones de trabajo para discutir las propuestas en espera de tomar acuerdos o suscribir los convenios que sean necesarios lo más pronto posible”, anotó.

En cuanto a una gobernanza eficiente para la ciudad de Lima, el alcalde manifestó que es un tema de gobernabilidad para el futuro. “En el municipio aprobamos el Acuerdo N.° 307, que indica que para poder gobernar Lima, en lugar de tener 42 distritos atomizados, [se deberían] tener 5 Limas: Lima norte, Lima sur, Lima este, Lima centro y Lima balnearios”, explicó. Además, señaló que esta propuesta será evaluada por el Congreso de la República y que existe bastante auspicio para su debate en el pleno, según lo conversado con la titular del Parlamento, María del Carmen Alva.

Finalmente el burgomaestre de Lima manifestó que “en los siete meses que nos quedan queremos construir tranquilidad, paz y poder entregar a las nuevas autoridades el gobierno municipal. Nuestro periodo es breve, pero va a ser eficiente”.
