Agencia Peruana de Noticias PRENSAPERU.PE https://prensaperu.pe Twitter: @prensaperupe La presidenta del Poder Judicial, Elvia Barrios Alvarado, inició una visita de trabajo a Corea del Sur para conocer el alto desarrollo tecnológico aplicado al sistema de justicia de ese país, así como realizar un intercambio de experiencias, conocimientos e información para contribuir a mejorar e innovar el sistema judicial peruano.

En su primera actividad, sostuvo una reunión con el presidente del Poder Judicial del país asiático, Kim Myeongsu, y luego recorrió diversas áreas de la sede que alberga a la Corte Suprema de Justicia del país oriental.

Ahí constató cómo la justicia coreana trabaja de la mano de un alto nivel tecnológico, puesto que esta nación cuenta con tecnología avanzada en el ámbito de Gobierno Digital y del modelo de Gobierno Digital del Sistema de Administración de Justicia.

“Es una experiencia grata el advertir el gran desarrollo tecnológico que han llevado a cabo. Transformar el sistema de justicia peruano en un sistema de Tecnologías de la Información y la Comunicación (TIC) constituye hoy un desafío en mi país”, resaltó Barrios Alvarado.

La titular del Poder Judicial, quien está acompañada del presidente de la Comisión de Trabajo del Expediente Judicial Electrónico (EJE), Héctor Lama More, sostuvo también un encuentro con el director general de Tecnología de Información (TI) del Centro de TI del Poder Judicial de Corea, Min Dongwon.

Durante su estadía, la comitiva conocerá in situ los avances en E-Goverment de Corea, el intercambio de experiencias para una adecuada toma de decisiones, la estrategia de intervención de la transformación digital en el sector Justicia y la implementación de la interoperabilidad con instituciones externas.

Esta actividad se realiza en el marco del convenio suscrito por el Gobierno del Perú y el Banco Interamericano de Desarrollo (BID) para la ejecución del Programa de Mejoramiento de los Servicios de Justicia en materia penal en el Perú.

En su itinerario, la titular del Poder Judicial también está acompañada por el embajador de Perú en Corea del Sur, Daúl Matute Mejía.

La transformación digital es uno de los cinco ejes del Plan de Gobierno 2021-2022 que desarrolla la presidenta del Poder Judicial con la finalidad de coadyuvar con la celeridad de los procesos, la transparencia, generar confianza y combatir la corrupción.
