Líderes digitales de Alemania, Ruanda, Egipto, Ucrania, Estonia participaron junto al Perú en la sesión de alto nivel sobre políticas digitales “Construyendo Seguridad y Confianza Digital”, en la cual la secretaria de Gobierno y Transformación Digital de la PCM, Marushka Chocobar, resaltó las acciones que se vienen desarrollando en el país para fortalecer la confianza digital de la ciudadanía y la necesidad de incrementar la participación de las mujeres en materia digital. Asimismo, el Perú fue incorporado al Grupo de Líderes Digitales Mundiales para la implementación de la iniciativa GovStack de la ITU donde nuestro país enfatizó en el uso de componentes reutilizables y la investigación etnográfica para el diseño de servicios digitales para la ciudadanía.
“Desde la Secretaría de Gobierno y Transformación Digital del Perú venimos trabajando con el firme propósito de garantizar un acceso inclusivo, seguro y de calidad al entorno digital en todas las regiones del país, tal como lo establece el eje 8 de Política General de Gobierno. Por ello, hoy el Perú se convierte en el primer país de Latinoamérica en ser incluido en la iniciativa GovStack de la ITU para acelerar el proceso nacional de transformación digital en favor de la ciudadanía” sostuvo.
En esa línea, Chocobar recalcó que es fundamental enfocar todos los esfuerzos en garantizar la equidad en la transformación digital considerando la diversidad cultural del país, los desafíos geográficos, las situaciones de vulnerabilidad y las diversas condiciones que existen en nuestros territorios. Además destacó que tenemos una gran oportunidad en el avance de la conectividad a través de dispositivos móviles lo que hará más fácil llegar a la ciudadanía con servicios digitales empáticos y predictivos.
En la Cumbre se destacó el crecimiento del Perú en los indicadores internacionales respecto a digitalización del Estado de la ONU, ciberseguridad de la Unión Internacional de Telecomunicaciones y el Índice de Madurez GovTech del Banco Mundial.

Likewise, Peru was incorporated into the Group of World Digital Leaders for the implementation of the ITU GovStack initiative, where our country emphasized the use of reusable components and ethnographic research for the design of digital services for citizens.

He also highlighted that we have a great opportunity in advancing connectivity through mobile devices, which will make it easier to reach citizens with empathic and predictive digital services.
The Summit highlighted Peru’s growth in international indicators regarding digitization of the UN State, cybersecurity from the International Telecommunications Union and the World Bank’s GovTech Maturity Index.
