Tras arribar a suelo estadounidense, el mandatario fue recibido por el representante permanente del Perú ante la OEA, Harold Forsyth y por funcionarios del Gobierno de Estados Unidos.
El jefe de Estado cumplirá una recargada agenda de trabajo del 8 al 10 de junio, que incluye reuniones con presidentes de la región, representantes de organismos internacionales y empresarios en la búsqueda de nuevas inversiones para el Perú.
