“Hemos tenido una amplia conversación con el Presidente de la República sobre temas sensibles del sistema de justicia, como por ejemplo lo relacionado a las Unidades de Flagrancia que van a funcionar a partir del 1 de julio en Trujillo. Se ha previsto, y hay el compromiso de que este proyecto se va a desplegar a otros distritos judiciales”, indicó.
Añadió, además, que el Mandatario se comprometió a evaluar otorgar recursos a todas las entidades involucradas para que el proyecto de la Unidad de Flagrancia pueda concretarse en Lima.
Así lo sostuvo a la salida de Palacio de Gobierno adonde concurrió convocada para una sesión del Consejo para la Reforma del Sistema de Justicia.
Barrios Alvarado informó también que trató con el presidente de la República el tema de la provisionalidad de los jueces, que asciende a un 37 %, así como la necesidad de que se evalúe incrementar la remuneración de los trabajadores CAS en el Poder Judicial, toda vez que los sindicatos han anunciado una huelga generalizada.
Refirió que son 3300 trabajadores judiciales, quienes perciben una remuneración de S/1350 al mes.
Asistieron a la reunión, que no se concretó por falta de quórum, el contralor general de la República, Nelson Shack; la defensora del Pueblo (e), Eliana Revollar, y el ministro de Justicia, Félix Chero.
Cabe recordar que para dar una respuesta rápida y eficiente a los delitos flagrantes que atentan contra la seguridad ciudadana, el Poder Judicial dispuso la implementación de la Unidad de Flagrancia en la Corte Superior de la Libertad a partir del 1 de julio próximo.
