Durante el XIX Consejo de Ministros Descentralizado (CMD) que se llevó a cabo en la ciudad de Celendín, remarcó que “venimos a atender las principales demandas de las provincias y los distritos; como son los proyectos de agua y saneamiento; la urgencia de culminar y mejorar las carreteras que agilicen el transporte de bienes y personas; así como fortalecer las cadenas productivas para mejorar la comercialización y sobre todo la seguridad alimentaria”.
Detalló que los principales productos agrícolas de la zona norte de Cajamarca son el café, el arroz, la yuca y el cacao; mientras que en las zonas centro y sur resaltan los cultivos de la papa, el maíz amarillo duro, el maíz amiláceo, el frijol grano seco y el trigo.
Asimismo, el jefe del Consejo de Ministros refirió que el Gobierno Nacional, las autoridades regionales, provinciales y locales, además de la sociedad civil de Cajamarca, trabajan con proactividad y firmeza para avanzar rápidamente en la gestión de proyectos de inversión por el desarrollo de la región.
“El trabajo de las autoridades y sus equipos técnicos seguirá siendo articulado entre los sectores y los gobiernos regionales y locales, porque solo así podemos avanzar rápidamente en la gestión de los proyectos y las inversiones públicas”, afirmó y recalcó que los Consejos de Ministros que se realizan en las regiones del país están destinados a fortalecer la descentralización, debido a que cumplen un rol esencial para que el Estado pueda acercar sus acciones y decisiones a la ciudadanía.
“Así, el Estado está llegando para mantener su presencia en todo el territorio del país. El objetivo de este proceso es mejorar la cobertura y su eficiencia en la provisión de servicios públicos. Hoy los diferentes niveles de gobierno y la ciudadanía nos hemos reunido en Cajamarca para tomar decisiones sobre distintas demandas que requiere esta región”, enfatizó.
El premier resaltó además que el gobierno del presidente de la República, Pedro Castillo Terrones, tiene el firme compromiso de trabajar por el bienestar del pueblo y el desarrollo de nuestros territorios; en ese sentido, exhortó a los congresistas y autoridades de los gobiernos regionales y locales a sumar esfuerzos con el fin de lograr sacar adelante al Perú.
FERTILIZANTES
Durante el XIX CMD en Celendín, el ministro de Desarrollo Agrario y Riego, Andrés Alencastre, adelantó que en el mes de agosto la urea llegará al Perú para ser distribuida y atender la campaña agrícola en todo el país, además cada departamento, provincia y distrito recibirá el fertilizante necesario porque su sector está realizando el empadronamiento correspondiente.
“Actualmente tenemos en Cajamarca 21,587 agricultores empadronados, pero en diciembre llegarán a 329,000, y en Celendín tenemos 1,200, pero en diciembre llegaremos a 20,000. El empadronamiento es urgente”, afirmó.
PLAN EXPORTADOR
A su turno, la viceministra de Comercio Exterior, Ana Gervasi indicó que Cajamarca tiene un gran plan exportador debido a la variedad agrícola que posee. Señala que Promperú viene capacitando a pequeños empresarios para mejorar la exportación de sus productos. Asimismo, se está trabajando con artesanos de sombreros para poder posicionarlos como productos 100% hecho a mano. “Mincetur está comprometido con Cajamarca para ayudarlos a promocionar sus productos con diferentes ferias en distintas partes del mundo”, resaltó.
GENERACIÓN DE EMPLEO
Por su parte, el ministro de Trabajo y Promoción del Empleo, Juan Lira, indicó que su sector ha destinado S/ 46 millones para implementar el programa de empleo temporal en Cajamarca, generando 23,000 puestos de trabajo, y focalizándose en 114 distritos de los 127 distritos de la región, casi la totalidad.
PROYECTOS DE PESCA ACUIÍCOLA
En tanto, el ministro de la Producción, Jorge Luis Prado, remarcó que su sector ha cofinanciado 338 proyectos en acuicultura y pesca por S/ 38 millones en Cajamarca, es decir, “continuamos con el programa que lleva productos hidrobiológicos a las mesas de los hogares más pobres a precio justo”. Asimismo, indicó que Produce sigue aportando productos a los comedores populares y ollas comunes.

“Thus, the State is arriving to maintain its presence throughout the country’s territory. The objective of this process is to improve coverage and its efficiency in the provision of public services. Today the different levels of government and citizens have met in Cajamarca to make decisions on the different demands that this region requires,” he emphasized.
