El jefe del Gabinete Ministerial estará acompañado por el ministro de Desarrollo Agrario y Riego, Andrés Alencastre, así como por la titular de Energía y Minas, Alessandra Herrera, el viceministro de Transportes, Luis Rivera, congresistas de la República y otras autoridades.
La jornada también contará con la presencia de autoridades como el gobernador regional de Tacna, Juan Tonconi Quispe; y el alcalde provincial de Candarave, Rodolfo Nina Yufra, asimismo participarán los alcaldes distritales de Camilaca, Huanuara, Cairani, Quillahuani, Curibaya y Candarave.
Por parte de la sociedad civil, participará el presidente de la Junta de Usuarios de la provincia de Candarave, así como un representante de la empresa minera Southern Perú Cooper Corporation. Las palabras de cierre estarán a cargo del premier Torres, para luego pasar a la firma del acta correspondiente.
La Mesa de Diálogo para abordar integralmente la problemática hídrica de la provincia de Candarave se conformó como un grupo de trabajo el 27 de agosto de 2019. Desde entonces ha venido sesionando con regularidad a través de los subgrupos, instancias de carácter técnico que analizan los temas de interés planteados por los integrantes de cada espacio de diálogo.
En esta visita, el jefe del Gabinete también asistirá a la inauguración de la represa de Cularjahuira, junto a las autoridades regionales y provinciales y los representantes de la minera Southern Perú Cooper Corporation.
