En ese sentido en entrevista con la Agencia Peruana de Noticias PrensaPerú.pe el alcalde de Tumbes Jimy Silva Mena, reveló que en conversaciones con el presidente Pedro Castillo le ha explicado que el problema de abono nacional que hay en estos momentos , fundamentalmente abonos como la urea que son abonos sintéticos, se podría contrarrestar en función a una actividad que realizan algunos de los municipios del Perú, que consiste en la segregación en fuente, en los rellenos sanitarios y que permite la elaboración de abonos orgánicos.

Así mismo dese el punto de vista es muchísimo mejor que los sintéticos, porque el abono orgánico permite que se tenga un producto orgánico, ya que por ejemplo los productos cosechados producto del empleo de abonos convencionales en los mercados europeos no son costosos como si lo son como los resultantes del empleo de los abonos orgánicos ya que su composición en vitaminas y nutrientes son muy bien reconocidos por estos consumidores, y esto significaría mejorar los ingresos de nuestros productores del campo y de sus familia, detalló el alcalde Silva Mena.

En Tumbes hemos estado trabajando el abono orgánico en toneladas bastante amplias para mejorar parques y jardines, ya que usamos ese abono orgánico para crear areas verdes que permitan mejorar eficazmente los pulmones de nuestra ciudad; por eso ahora ante esta nueva coyuntura de crisis sobre la adquisición de fertilizantes para nuestros agricultores, hemos tomado la decisión de dedicarnos a cubrir esta necesidad destinando “compost” a los agricultores de nuestra zona sin costo alguno para que lo empleen en sus labores agrícolas, a la fecha ya estamos entregando a nuestros agricultores de Tumbes más de 30 toneladas de “compost”.

En otro momento Jimy Silva Mena, reveló que le ha solicitado al primer mandatario que inicie la implementación de dar asistencia técnica para la producción masiva de abono orgánico de mejor calidad, realizando los estudios de suelos, ya que las municipalidades pueden producir sus abonos, y esa es una muestra de que juntos podemos hacerle frente a este problema que tiene el agricultor peruano para su cosecha que empieza este mes de agosto de 2022, precisó.

Por eso quienes tenemos la capacidad de tener rellenos sanitarios podemos iniciar esta propuesta de crear nuestros abonos orgánicos, solo falta la decisión política, recalcó el burgomaestre de Tumbes Jimy Silva Mena.

En nuestra gestión nos hemos puesto la meta que cada dos meses vamos a producir entre 40 a 60 toneladas de “compost” para nuestros agricultores, estamos empeñados en mejorar la calidad de nuestras tierras de cultivos y de los productos que se cosechan de la misma, el “compost” precisamente da a las plantas la cantidad necesaria de nutrientes que la misma requiere, quedando lo no usado para ser absorbido posteriormente en otras siembras, en palabras sencillas, con el empleo de este abono, esta totalmente asegurada la inversión, por su rentabilidad y su cero contaminación, remarcó Jimy Silva Mena en una entrevista a nuestro director Fernando Palomares, durante su última visita de semana de representación en Lima donde realizó una serie de visitas de trabajo en diversos ministerios y entidades de gobierno, gestionando obras que beneficien a su comuna de Tumbes.

At another point, Jimy Silva Mena, revealed that he has asked the president to begin the implementation of providing technical assistance for the mass production of organic fertilizer of better quality, carrying out soil studies, since the municipalities can produce their fertilizers, and that is a sign that together we can face this problem that the Peruvian farmer has for his harvest that begins this month of August 2022, he specified.
