“Ratificamos nuestro compromiso, hay que hacer todo lo posible para que el ministro de Economía y Finanzas garantice al sector Educación un presupuesto del 6% del PBI al concluir el mandato, solo así, invirtiendo en educación, seremos un país distinto, sin discriminaciones sin circos”, aseveró durante un encuentro con autoridades regionales de educación de todo el país.
Sostuvo que su gobierno le da real importancia a la educación, por lo que convocó a los directores regionales de educación, de las unidades de gestión educativa local (UGEL) y a los maestros a participar en la elaboración del nuevo Currículo Nacional Educativo, conjuntamente con los padres de familia.
“Debe ser participativo, abierto, integral, en ustedes directivos está la nueva era de la educación. Le decía el ministro de Educación, Rosendo Serna, es el momento de llamar a los directivos de las UGEL para escucharlos y que está nueva gesta de la educación se haga respetando la voz, la autenticidad y la realidad de cada región”, refirió.
Reveló además que ha conversado con el ministro Serna para que vuelvan a las aulas y se impulsen en la nueva curricula los cursos de Historia de Perú, Educación Cívica y Filosofía.
“Tengo fe en los maestros, en la institución educativa y en cada de uno de ustedes, dependerá de cada uno que la educación sea diferente, para que ningún menor se quede sin estudiar y para erradicar toda forma de discriminación en las escuelas”, manifestó.
Asimismo, el jefe de Estado llamó a las autoridades regionales de educación a trabajar para democratizar y descentralizar la educación. En esa línea, aseveró que se fortalecerá la labor de estos funcionarios para que puedan resolver las necesidades de las escuelas más alejadas del país, sin necesidad de que vengan a Lima.
“Este es el gobierno de las provincias, de las regiones, en este quinquenio debemos hacer efectiva la descentralización y la democratización de este sector”, refirió al tiempo de pedirles además cumplir su labor con transparencia y pensando en el bien común.
El jefe de Estado participó hoy en el Encuentro Nacional “Fortaleciendo la recuperación de los aprendizajes en el marco de la gestión educativa descentralizada”, evento en el que participan los directores o gerentes regionales de educación, directores de UGEL y directores de gestión pedagógica e institucional de todas las regiones del país.
Durante este encuentro, que contará con expertos en Educación, se presentará los resultados de las evaluaciones nacionales de logros de aprendizaje de los estudiantes, dentro del contexto de la pandemia, así como se realizará un trabajo articulado que permita fortalecer la gestión educativa y los aprendizajes de los estudiantes a nivel nacional.
