Es totalmente nuevo y albergará 56 camas hospitalarias distribuidas en cuatro módulos (salas). En total, el hospital tiene 16 módulos y en el contexto actual de la pandemia permitirá brindar atención a pacientes COVID y NO COVID.
Participarán el ministro de Trabajo y Promoción del Empleo, Alejandro Salas Zegarra, el presidente ejecutivo de EsSalud, Dr. Gino Dávila Herrera, el alcalde Provincial de Virú, Andrés Chávez Gonzáles.
Previamente el jefe de Estado hará un recorrido por las instalaciones de dicho nosocomio, la ceremonia está prevista para las 10:00 horas en el Predio Carhuabamba, sector Fundo Agricultor, Lote 3A-4B – distrito de Chao, provincia de Virú, región La Libertad.
