Comparando los períodos junio del 2012-mayo del 2013 y junio del 2021-mayo del 2022, crecieron 191.4%, 157.4% y 145.8%, respectivamente, informó la Asociación de Exportadores (ADEX)
Cifras del Sistema de Inteligencia Comercial ADEX Data Trade señalan que los despachos no tradicionales a ese mercado centroamericano aumentaron 63.7% al pasar de US$ 48 millones 549 mil entre junio del 2012 y mayo del 2013 a US$ 79 millones 462 mil entre junio del 2021 y mayo del 2022.
En esos mismos lapsos de tiempo, la agroindustria pasó de US$ 7 millones 957 mil a US$ 23 millones 187 mil, la siderometalurgia de US$ 2 millones 716 mil a US$ 6 millones 991 mil; y los textiles de US$ 771 mil 168 a US$ 1 millón 895 mil.
La pesca para consumo humano directo de US$ 650 mil 911 a US$1 millón 420 mil, el químico de US$ 15 millones 747 mil a US$ 27 millones 017 mil, las confecciones de US$ 8 millones 424 mil a US$ 9 millones 922 mil y la metalmecánica de US$ 3 millones 076 mil a US$ 3 millones 481 mil.
Respecto a la integración comercial entre ambos países, se debe destacar que en el 2021 Perú fue el proveedor mundial N° 36 de Costa Rica, con una participación del 0.4% del total importado por esa nación. En el ranking de Latinoamérica se posicionó en el puesto N°9.
ADEX indicó la existencia de un potencial exportador de nuestro país en Costa Rica, de productos como el alambre de cobre refinado de 6 mm por US$ 6 millones 100 mil, paltas (US$4 millones 800 mil), formas planas de polímeros (US$ 4 millones 200 mil) y alimentos para animales (US$ 3 millones 800 mil).
PRIMER SEMESTRE
En el primer semestre del año –del total de los despachos a Costa Rica por US$ 38 millones 953 mil–, el 88% fueron no tradicionales (US$ 34 millones 268 mil), logrando un incremento del 10% respecto al mismo periodo del 2021 (US$ 31 millones 165 mil).
En el periodo analizado la agroindustria presentó una evolución el 25% al sumar US$ 9 millones 191 mil. Sus principales partidas fueron uvas frescas, aguacates, galletas dulces, demás preparaciones utilizadas para la alimentación de los animales y, arándanos rojos.
Le siguió el químico (US$ 15 millones 577 mil). Destacaron las demás placas, láminas, hojas y tiras de polímeros de etileno, las demás preparaciones antioxidantes y demás estabilizantes compuestos para caucho o plástico, a base de nitrato de amonio, los demás medicamentos para uso humano y los demás medicamentos para uso veterinario.
EL DATO
-En el primer semestre del 2022 la balanza comercial fue deficitaria para nuestro país en US$ 7 millones. Mientras las exportaciones peruanas a Costa Rica ascendieron a US$ 39 millones, las importaciones fueron por US$ 46 millones.

In the analyzed period, agribusiness presented an evolution of 25%, adding US$ 9 million 191 thousand. Its main items were fresh grapes, avocados, sweet cookies, other preparations used for animal feed, and lingonberries.
It was followed by the chemical (US$ 15,577,000). Other plates, sheets, sheets and strips of ethylene polymers, other antioxidant preparations and other compound stabilizers for rubber or plastic, based on ammonium nitrate, other medicines for human use and other medicines for veterinary use stood out.
THE DATA
-In the first half of 2022, the trade balance was in deficit for our country by US$ 7 million. While Peruvian exports to Costa Rica amounted to US$39 million, imports amounted to US$46 million.
