“Las agroexportaciones con valor agregado crecieron en los últimos 14 años en un promedio anual de 13% y ayudaron a generar en el 2021 cerca de 1 millón 600 mil empleos entre directos, indirectos e inducidos. Regiones como Ica, La Libertad, Piura y Lambayeque brindan oportunidad de empleo formal por lo que es necesario promover esa actividad y lograr que sus beneficios lleguen a más personas”, comentó.
Recordó que gracias al antiguo marco (Ley N° 27360) ese sector logró un gran auge y más allá de posicionar la oferta de las frutas y hortalizas peruanas en el mundo, hubo un efecto indudable en la creación de puestos de trabajo y riqueza en zonas en donde antes había mucha pobreza.
“Estamos hablando del fortalecimiento de una cadena virtuosa que favorezca a todos sus integrantes, pequeños productores que al trabajar de la mano con las medianas y grandes empresas repliquen las buenas prácticas agrícolas y el uso de la tecnología; proveedores de semillas, agroquímicos, cajas y embalajes, empresas de transporte y seguros y muchos más”, detalló.
Pérez Alván, quien participó en la instalación de la Mesa Ejecutiva para el Desarrollo del Sector Agroindustrial de Exportación –contó con la presencia del ministro de Economía y Finanzas, Kurt Burneo; del ministro de Desarrollo Agrario y Riego, Andrés Alencastre; y de los otros integrantes–, señaló que vio una muy buena disposición al trabajo en equipo, lo cual espera se mantenga en las próximas reuniones y se traduzca en medidas concretas ad-hoc a las necesidades del rubro.
Destacó que sea integrada por representantes del Gobierno, incluidas las instituciones técnicas como la Comisión de Promoción del Perú para la Exportación y el Turismo (PromPerú), el Servicio Nacional de Sanidad Agraria (Senasa), el Instituto Nacional de Innovación Agraria (INIA), la Autoridad Nacional del Agua (ANA), el Instituto Tecnológico de la Producción (ITP) y la Superintendencia Nacional de Fiscalización Laboral (Sunafil).

La Resolución Ministerial N° 202-2022-EF/10, señala que se incentivará las nuevas inversiones e impulsará la asociatividad a fin de incorporar un mayor número de pequeños productores en la cadena de la agroindustria y la agroexportación.

“We are talking about the strengthening of a virtuous chain that favors all its members, small producers who, by working hand in hand with medium and large companies, replicate good agricultural practices and the use of technology; suppliers of seeds, agrochemicals, boxes and packaging, transport and insurance companies and many more”, he detailed.
Pérez Alván, who participated in the installation of the Executive Board for the Development of the Agroindustrial Export Sector – was attended by the Minister of Economy and Finance, Kurt Burneo; the Minister of Agrarian Development and Irrigation, Andrés Alencastre; and of the other members–, he pointed out that he saw a very good disposition to teamwork, which he hopes will continue in the next meetings and translate into concrete ad-hoc measures to the needs of the item.
He stressed that it is made up of representatives of the Government, including technical institutions such as the Commission for the Promotion of Peru for Exports and Tourism (PromPerú), the National Agricultural Health Service (Senasa), the National Institute of Agrarian Innovation (INIA), the National Water Authority (ANA), the Technological Institute of Production (ITP) and the National Superintendence of Labor Control (Sunafil).
