Agencia Peruana de Noticias PRENSAPERU.PE https://prensaperu.pe Twitter: @prensaperupe El presidente de la República, Pedro Castillo Terrones, llegó en la víspera a Estados Unidos para participar en el Debate General del 77º periodo de sesiones de la Asamblea General de la Organización de las Naciones Unidas (ONU), y cumplir una serie de actividades oficiales del 19 al 21 de setiembre, fecha en la que retorna a Lima.
A continuación, detallamos las actividades oficiales que realiza hoy el jefe de Estado:
LUNES 19 DE SETIEMBRE
Este lunes comienza la jornada con su participación en la inauguración de la Cumbre sobre la Transformación de la Educación, la misma que se iniciará desde las 09:00 horas.
Tras la inauguración, el jefe de Estado será orador de la mesa redonda de líderes de dicha cumbre alrededor de las 10:45 horas.
Al promediar las 12:15 horas, expondrá sobre Aprendizaje y Transformación Digital. Participarán también los presidentes Pedro Sánchez de España e Ignazio Cassis de la Confederación Suiza.
La Cumbre sobre la Transformación de la Educación se realiza en respuesta a una crisis mundial que existe en la educación respecto a igualdad, inclusión, calidad y pertinencia. El objetivo es evaluar acciones que permitan mitigar el impacto en la población.
Acompañarán al mandatario, el ministro de Relaciones Exteriores, César Landa Arroyo; el ministro de Educación, Rosendo Serna Román; el ministro de Economía y Finanzas, Kurt Burneo Farfán; el ministro de Comercio Exterior y Turismo, Roberto Sánchez Palomino; y el Representante Permanente del Perú ante la Organización de la Naciones Unidas, en New York, Manuel Rodríguez Cuadros.
Posteriormente, a las 17:55 horas, participa de la inauguración de la muestra “Nunca Más” – Museo Sitio de Memoria ESMA, Ex Centro Clandestino de Detención, Tortura y Exterminio; la misma que estará a cargo del presidente de la República de Argentina, Alberto Fernández.
A las 18:10 horas se reúne con Susan Segal, presidenta del American Society Council of Americas (AS/COA).
Seguidamente, sostendrá un encuentro con inversores y representantes de empresas que tienen interés de invertir en el país. La actividad es organizada por American Society Council of Americas (AS/COA).
Participarán de la cita los ministros de Estado que forman parte de la delegación.
Cabe precisar que el Council of the Americas, es una organización empresarial internacional que agrupa a más de 200 importantes firmas e inversiones en América Latina (Google, Microsoft, Citi Group, Pfizer, entre otros).

Later, at 5:55 p.m., he participates in the inauguration of the exhibition “Never Again” – ESMA Memory Site Museum, Former Clandestine Center for Detention, Torture and Extermination; the same one that will be in charge of the president of the Republic of Argentina, Alberto Fernández.
At 6:10 p.m. he meets with Susan Segal, president of the American Society Council of Americas (AS/COA).
Next, he will hold a meeting with investors and representatives of companies that are interested in investing in the country. The activity is organized by the American Society Council of Americas (AS/COA).
The Ministers of State that are part of the delegation will participate in the meeting.
