Agencia Peruana de Noticias PRENSAPERU.PE https://prensaperu.pe Twitter: @prensaperupe En el marco del eje 8 de la Política General de Gobierno y la Estrategia Nacional de Inteligencia Artificial, la Presidencia del Consejo de Ministros (PCM), a través de la Secretaría de Gobierno y Transformación Digital, participó en el lanzamiento del informe de la OCDE y CAF sobre el uso estratégico y responsable de la inteligencia artificial en el sector público de América Latina y el Caribe donde Perú fue reconocido como uno de los países de la región que demuestra un fuerte compromiso en el desarrollo de marcos jurídicos y éticos en materia de inteligencia artificial.

El reciente informe de la organización para la Cooperación y el Desarrollo Económicos (OCDE) y Banco de Desarrollo de América Latina (CAF), presentó los primeros resultados de una evaluación sobre la aceleración de la transformación digital de los gobiernos de la región que abarca temas como gobernanza digital, habilidades y capacidades digitales, sector público impulsado por datos, innovación digital, uso de tecnologías disruptivas como la inteligencia artificial, internet de las cosas y los enfoques colaborativos de govtech.

“Desde la Presidencia del Consejo de Ministros venimos impulsando el uso y aprovechamiento de las tecnologías disruptivas como la inteligencia artificial para acelerar la transformación digital en el país. Para lograrlo es fundamental el apoyo de organismos internacionales que acompañan a los gobiernos en materia digital a nivel mundial. Para nuestro país es importante este reconocimiento y nos compromete a seguir avanzando para garantizar el ejercicio de deberes y derechos en entornos digitales cada vez más seguros”, sostuvo Marushka Chocobar, secretaría de Gobierno y Transformación Digital de la PCM.

En esa línea, se reconoce al Perú junto a Argentina, Brasil, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica y México como uno de los países que se adhieren a los principios de la OCDE sobre inteligencia artificial y demuestran su liderazgo en varios temas relacionados con los factores relacionados a elaborar un enfoque responsable, fiable y centrado en las personas respecto del uso de la IA en el sector público, desarrollo de capacidades de gobernanza fundamentales, y poner en funcionamiento habilitadores clave tales como datos, financiamiento, conocimientos especializados tanto internos como externos, e infraestructura digital.

Entre los principales asistentes a este lanzamiento internacional destacaron María Isabel Mejía, ejecutiva de gobierno digital de CAF Banco de Desarrollo de América Latina; Bárbara Ubaldi, responsable de gobierno digital y datos abiertos de la Organización para la Cooperación y el Desarrollo Económicos (OCDE); Carlos Santiso, director de Transformación Digital – CAF. Asimismo participaron representantes en gobierno y transformación digital de países como Argentina, Brasil, Chile, Colombia, Paraguay, Panamá, Perú, México, entre otros.

The recent report by the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) and the Development Bank of Latin America (CAF), presented the first results of an evaluation on the acceleration of the digital transformation of the governments of the region that covers topics such as digital governance, digital skills and capabilities, data-driven public sector, digital innovation, use of disruptive technologies such as artificial intelligence, internet of things, and collaborative govtech approaches.

“Since the Presidency of the Council of Ministers, we have been promoting the use and exploitation of disruptive technologies such as artificial intelligence to accelerate the digital transformation in the country. To achieve this, the support of international organizations that accompany governments in digital matters worldwide is essential. This recognition is important for our country and it commits us to continue advancing to guarantee the exercise of duties and rights in increasingly secure digital environments”, said Marushka Chocobar, Secretary of Government and Digital Transformation of the PCM.

In this line, Peru is recognized along with Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica and Mexico as one of the countries that adhere to the OECD principles on artificial intelligence and demonstrate their leadership in various issues related to factors related to developing a responsible, trustworthy and people-centric approach to the use of AI in the public sector, building critical governance capabilities, and operationalizing key enablers such as data, funding, internal and external expertise, and digital infrastructure.

Among the main attendees at this international launch were María Isabel Mejía, digital government executive at CAF Development Bank of Latin America; Bárbara Ubaldi, head of digital government and open data at the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD); Carlos Santiso, Director of Digital Transformation – CAF.
