Agencia Peruana de Noticias PRENSAPERU.PE https://prensaperu.pe Twitter: @prensaperupe El presidente de la República, Pedro Castillo Terrones, lideró en la víspera la ceremonia de premiación a los ganadores del Premio Nacional de la Juventud “Yenuri Chiguala Cruz”, que reconoce el esfuerzo realizado por los jóvenes a nivel nacional en la promoción de la cultura, valores, identidad, así como su contribución al desarrollo social.

El mandatario participó de forma virtual en dicho evento que congregó a jóvenes de diferentes regiones del país. Felicitó a Geidy Yecenia Jiménez Yoplac y Franklin Romualdo Limas Salazar, quienes resultaron ganadores de las categorías Ambiente y Deportes, respectivamente.

“A los ganadores, menciones honrosas y participantes todos, los comprometo a seguir trabajando por el progreso de nuestro país. Con su juventud, tienen mucho que aportar a nuestra Nación”, refirió.

En ese sentido, el jefe de Estado recordó que el Perú será protagonista de dos eventos internacionales donde los jóvenes podrán competir y demostrar sus destrezas deportivas. Se trata de los Juegos Bolivarianos del Bicentenario 2024, así como el Mundial de Fútbol Sub-17 a realizarse el 2023, los cuales serán organizados por nuestro país.

“Hemos declarado de interés nacional la organización de ambos eventos, lo que muestra el compromiso que mi Gobierno tiene con la educación, con el deporte y la juventud. Aquella juventud que va tomando cada vez más protagonismo en un mundo de acelerados cambios”, señaló.

El Premio Nacional de la Juventud “Yenuri Chiguala Cruz” es una distinción honorífica que el Estado otorga, a través de la Secretaría Nacional de la Juventud (SENAJU), a los jóvenes de entre 15 y 29 años y a organizaciones juveniles.

Participaron en la actividad el jefe del Gabinete Ministerial, Aníbal Torres, el ministro de Educación, Rosendo Serna; y el secretario nacional de la juventud, Darío Barboza Fustamante.

The National Youth Award “Yenuri Chiguala Cruz” is an honorary distinction that the State grants, through the National Youth Secretariat (SENAJU), to young people between 15 and 29 years old and to youth organizations.

The head of the Ministerial Cabinet, Aníbal Torres, the Minister of Education, Rosendo Serna, participated in the activity; and the national youth secretary, Darío Barboza Fustamante.
