Sala Plena de Corte Suprema recibió y distinguió labor del presidente de la Corte Interamericana de Derechos Humanos (Corte-IDH).

“Las líneas que se llevan adelante en la gestión de la doctora Barrios Alvarado con acciones como el Botón de Pánico son realmente importantes, así como el trabajo de hacer efectiva una justicia abierta y transparente con el control de datos y divulgación de sentencias de acceso abierto”, refirió.

Así lo consideró Pérez Manrique, quien fue recibido en una sesión de la Sala Plena de la Corte Suprema de Justicia, presidida por Barrios Alvarado, en el Salón de Acuerdos de Palacio de Justicia.

La titular del Poder Judicial explicó al presidente de la Corte-IDH los avances logrados durante su gestión para fortalecer el servicio de justicia en el país como los aplicativos tecnológicos puestos en ejecución como otros aspectos relacionados a la justicia itinerante y enfoque de género.

Pérez Manrique, asimismo, visitó el Centro de Comando y Monitoreo Jurisdiccional del Poder Judicial, que provee un acceso rápido a la información para facilitar la toma de decisiones, basado en la transparencia en el marco de la transformación digital del Poder Judicial.

“Valoro las instancias de diálogo entre tribunales para intercambiar aspectos vinculados a la jurisprudencia de ambas cortes, especialmente en lo referido a la independencia judicial”, señaló Pérez Manrique, quien además recibió una distinción de manos de la titular del Poder Judicial en reconocimiento a su labor en el tribunal supranacional.

Al culminar el encuentro, Pérez Manrique, quien participa de la 52 Asamblea General de la Organización de Estados Americanos que se desarrolla en Perú, saludó la atención recibida por parte de los jueces supremos titulares de nuestro país.
