“Se podría habilitar un mecanismo a fin de contar con estos certificados, sin ellos, nuestra oferta será rechazada y se afectará la imagen del país como proveedor confiable de alimentos. Esperamos una salida a la brevedad posible pues no se puede paralizar la cadena alimenticia”, dijo.
Recordó que en el 2021 Perú fue el principal exportador mundial de arándanos, quinua y uvas; el segundo de espárragos en conserva, espárragos frescos y aceitunas en conserva; el tercero de paltas, páprika seca y alcachofas en conserva y el cuarto de jengibre (kion).
“El año pasado los envíos agrarios tradicionales y no tradicionales generaron cerca de 2 millones de empleos entre directos, indirectos e inducidos a nivel nacional, principalmente en regiones como Piura, Ica, La Libertad, Lambayeque y Lima. La paralización perjudicaría a todos los integrantes de la cadena, incluyendo a miles de pequeños productores”, comentó.
Pérez precisó que varios productos líderes de la canasta agroexportadora están en temporada alta. Es el caso de las uvas y los arándanos –en el 2021 lideraron el ranking de las exportaciones agroindustriales–, que de forma conjunta representaron el 31% de este total (US$ 2 mil 433 millones 544 mil de US$ 7 mil 908 millones 400 mil).
Se debe indicar que la medida de fuerza fue convocada inicialmente para el lunes 26 de septiembre pasado por el Sindicato de Trabajadores de Senasa, pero se suspendió tras el compromiso del Ministerio de Desarrollo Agrario (Midagri) de hallar una solución a la agenda planteada.
PRESUPUESTO
En el proyecto de Ley de Presupuesto que está en el Congreso de la República, según se informó, se plantea la reducción del presupuesto del Senasa, lo que impediría nivelar los sueldos de los trabajadores de esa entidad con otras similares, punto fundamental en su petitorio.
“No vemos claridad en las instancias del Gobierno para acompañar el esfuerzo del sector privado en el fortalecimiento de los sectores productivos ni en encender nuevos motores que ayuden a la recuperación del país. La agroindustria es uno de los pocos que se mantiene gracias a las inversiones pasadas. Es momento de actuar”, concluyó Pérez Alván.

ADEX pidió al Ministerio de Economía y Finanzas (MEF) recoger las necesidades del Senasa y ajustar el proyecto del presupuesto general de la República; y al Congreso de la República, revisar el proyecto para hacer los correctivos necesarios.
