“Al histórico rebelde cusqueño le decimos que los herederos de sus convicciones justicieras continuamos batallando contra la injusticia social, contra el hambre, contra la discriminación porque hemos llegado al Gobierno realizar el gran cambio que el Perú de hoy exige y demanda”, señaló el mandatario durante su participación en la ceremonia por el 242° aniversario de la rebelión de Túpac Amaru II y Micaela Bastidas en Palacio de Gobierno.
El jefe de Estado indicó que en la actualidad se sigue librando una batalla contra los enemigos del cambio y los reaccionarios de siempre, quienes ya no utilizan las viejas armas de guerra que usaron contra el mártir cusqueño sino calumnias y acusaciones falsas.
“Pretenden doblegarnos hoy con desinformaciones, con falsas acusaciones, con calumnias para que renunciemos a nuestra voluntad de cambio que el país necesita y aceptemos el poder de los que no quieren ver al frente a los pobres, a los ciudadanos que afrontan tremendas desigualdades en el Perú. Estos hombres que siguen luchando contra la desigualdad deben ser protagonistas de los cambios que necesita el país”, remarcó.
Por último, aseveró que cumplirá con permanecer en el Gobierno hasta el último día de su mandato, tal y como lo decidió la ciudadanía mediante elecciones generales.
“Por ello, a los peruanos que piensan diferente, aquellos enemigos del pueblo, les respondo en los mismos términos que usó Tupac Amaru II al dirigirse a José de Areche cuando terminó su rebelión: ‘Aquí solo hay dos culpables: tú por oprimir a mi pueblo y yo por intentar liberarlo’”, puntualizó.
