A las nuevas autoridades regionales y locales, convocadas por la Autoridad Nacional para la Reconstrucción con Cambios, el mandatario los llamó a caminar de la mano los cuatro años de su gestión para construir las carreteras y atender las necesidades de los agricultores, de los niños y campesinos postergados por gestiones anteriores.

Dijo que si esos gobiernos hubieran destinado los recursos necesarios, hubieran declarado en emergencia la salud y la educación, otra sería la realidad del país. “Corresponde a ustedes asumir la responsabilidad de cara a la realidad, cuenten con nosotros, tienen a los ministros y al Despacho Presidencial para definir temas urgentes” afirmó.

De igual manera, pidió que, una vez culminadas las elecciones, se dejen de lado las rencillas y los enfrentamientos inútiles para encaminar una gestión regional y municipal con una oposición responsable y no como la que tiene el Gobierno Central.

“Ustedes miran las pantallas y en los otros no hay agenda país, sino vacancia, acusaciones; no hemos venido a eso, somos un gobierno democrático, de apertura. Esperamos que tengan la posibilidad de hacer efectivos sus proyectos, haremos todos los esfuerzos para inyectarles a las municipalidades el presupuesto para sus obras”, indicó al tiempo de señalar que se buscan pruebas que lo vinculen con actos de corrupción, pero que no se encontrarán.

Tras reiterar que lidera un gobierno de las regiones y municipios, el jefe de Estado puntualizó que ha dispuesto que su Gabinete Ministerial brinde todo el apoyo a los gobiernos regionales y locales a fin de que no esperen hasta el 1 de enero de 2023 para encaminar sus obras.

En su intervención, Rosa Vásquez, gobernadora electa de Lima Provincias, subrayó que la gran tarea de las autoridades es unirse para entregar resultados a un pueblo que no pierde la esperanza. “En nosotros tendrá un brazo de apoyo y respaldo”, indicó.

Por su parte, el director ejecutivo de la Autoridad para la Reconstrucción con Cambios, Robert López, señaló que se destinarán más de 3,300 millones de soles a las autoridades distritales, provinciales y regionales para continuar con los proyectos que se ejecutan en favor de la reconstrucción de las zonas afectas por el fenómeno de El Niño Costero.
