Antonio Carranza, gerente de Articulación Territorial de Sutran, explicó que esta es una tarea que la entidad realiza todos los días del año en 21 regiones del país, pero que, en las fechas en las que se presenta mayor movimiento de personas, como lo son Navidad y Año Nuevo, se intensifica estas acciones, a fin de evitar siniestros viales donde los ciudadanos expongan sus vidas.
“Hemos avanzado en la fiscalización y hoy, gracias a la ayuda de la tecnología y con nuestra app Fiscamóvil, podemos comprobar rápidamente que los vehículos prestadores del servicio de transporte, cumplan con la documentación correspondiente, verificando la Autorización del Transportista, Certificado de Inspección Técnica Vehicular, SOAT, así como, que los conductores cuenten con su licencia de conducir al día; aunado a ello, realizamos la verificación del cumplimiento de las condiciones técnicas del vehículo, tales como, las luces, parabrisas, limpiaparabrisas, espejos retrovisores, neumáticos, láminas retroflectivas y cinturones de seguridad, entre otros” explicó.
El funcionario exhortó a los usuarios a acudir únicamente a terminales terrestres autorizados y abordar vehículos habilitados. “La mayor ocurrencia de siniestros viales se suscita por la imprudencia de los conductores que no cumplen con la normativa vigente, tal como es el exceso de velocidad, por eso desde la Sutran les hacemos el llamado a abordar únicamente vehículos habilitados, porque en esta Navidad el mejor regalo que podemos dar a nuestras familias es llegar sanos y salvos a casa”, afirmó.
Así también, Antonio Carranza recordó a los usuarios y operadores a seguir cuidándonos para evitar contagiarnos del Covid. “Ya nuestras autoridades del Minsa han anunciado que estamos en una quinta ola, y entonces, si bien el uso de la mascarilla no es obligatorio, nosotros seguimos sugiriendo a nuestros pasajeros a que utilicen este elemento de protección”, indicó.

The official urged users to go only to authorized land terminals and board authorized vehicles. “The greatest occurrence of road accidents is caused by the recklessness of drivers who do not comply with current regulations, such as speeding, that is why from Sutran we call on them to only board authorized vehicles, because this Christmas the best gift we can give our families is to arrive home safe and sound,” he said.
Likewise, Antonio Carranza reminded users and operators to continue taking care of us to avoid infecting us with Covid. “Our Minsa authorities have already announced that we are in a fifth wave, and so, although the use of the mask is not mandatory, we continue to suggest that our passengers use this element of protection,” he said.
