“Sé que hay algunas voces que indican adelanto de elecciones y eso democráticamente es respetable. Creo que la asunción de la presidencia, en esta oportunidad, es reorientar lo que hay que hacer con el país”, puntualizó la jefa de Estado.
Según remarcó la dignataria, más adelante, en coordinación con todas las organizaciones, se verán alternativas de orientar mejor los destinos del país.
Asimismo, agradeció el interés de la prensa de querer informar de primera mano lo que sucede en el Perú y expresó su disposición de atenderlos siempre.
Bajo esa premisa, al igual que lo hecho ante el Congreso, solicitó a la prensa una tregua a fin de ordenarse todos y darles la información que requieren.
Por otro lado, la mandataria recordó que la inestabilidad política en el país no es de ahora sino de tiempo atrás, y ratificó que las relaciones con los países de la región seguirán siendo las más idóneas y hermanadas.
En ese sentido, dijo que se están haciendo las coordinaciones con la Vicecancillería en torno a la reunión de la Alianza del Pacífico, en la cual el Perú debe asumir la presidencia pro témpore de dicho bloque regional.
Según indicó, se espera en todo caso que el presidente de México, Andrés López Obrador, pueda venir a Lima, como lo había ofrecido anteriormente, o llevar adelante una reunión virtual.
