Al encabezar la ceremonia de bautizo y botadura del BAP Paita, en la Base Naval del Callao, la jefa de Estado señaló que la historia ha enseñado que si se quiere seguir avanzando corresponde mirar al país y sus necesidades con madurez política, de pie y en un solo corazón.
“El Perú está por encima de sus problemas. Las peruanas y los peruanos estamos resueltos a trabajar juntos por nuestra querida patria”, expresó la mandataria.
La presidenta Boluarte llamó a seguir el ejemplo del héroe nacional Miguel Grau Seminario y deseó a la tripulación del BAP Paita llegar a buen puerto.
Asimismo, destacó que el orgullo de la patria radica en el trabajo, la voluntad, sacrificio y grandeza de miles de mujeres y hombres que a diario echan andar sus sueños traducidos en laboriosidad para hacer del Perú el mejor lugar para todos.
La dignataria resaltó, además, que la construcción del BAP Paita por parte de los Servicios Industriales de la Marina – SIMA Perú, será de vital importancia para la reactivación de la economía, donde el sector público y privado convergen esfuerzos en el marco del plan “Impulso Perú”.
Este programa, recordó, tiene una serie de medidas destinadas a la reforma industrial del país, a través del fortalecimiento de la industria naval como parte de la mesa ejecutiva que integran los ministerios de Defensa, Economía y otros, en alianza con el sector empresarial.
“Esta importante unidad naval no solo contribuirá al trabajo de nuestra Marina de Guerra en su labor constitucional de defensa de la soberanía e integridad territorial en el extenso mar peruano, sobre todo, ayudará a la gestión del riesgo de desastres y la movilización de ayuda humanitaria, entre otros, que permitan asegurar la paz, el bienestar y la tranquilidad de los peruanos”, indicó.
“Sigamos desarrollando la industria naval que impulse las demás potencialidades del país. Con decisión, esfuerzo, coraje y sabiduría lograremos los tan anhelados objetivos de nuestra patria. Gobernemos juntos, unidos. El Perú no puede ni debe parar”, enfatizó.
