La mandataria remarcó que la lucha frontal contra la corrupción constituye uno de los primeros temas de agenda de su gestión, al tratarse de un asunto que ocasiona un perjuicio económico millonario para el Perú y genera la indignación ciudadana.
Según remarcó la jefa de Estado, no se puede salir de una crisis ni reencauzar o recuperar la gobernabilidad de un país sino se acaba con la plaga de la corrupción, haciéndole frente con acciones claras y decididas en todos los niveles “caiga quien caiga”.
“Por eso mi gobierno recibe la agenda anticorrupción con sentido de urgencia, alta responsabilidad y compromiso firme ante todas las peruanas y peruanos para corregir errores del pasado y construir un país confiable, honesto y justo”, enfatizó.
En este trabajo, subrayó, el Poder Ejecutivo tiene una responsabilidad de primer orden y, por eso, en los 21 días de su gestión se han dado pasos importantes como la reestructuración del Despacho Presidencial, a fin de poner orden y mostrar un trabajo transparente.
“No más gabinetes en las sombras”, aseveró la dignataria tras indicar que el equipo de ministros que lidera viajará a las regiones para resolver los problemas de la población que no han sido atendidos debido a la confrontación.
Además, recordó que todos sus ministros juraron a sus cargos bajo el compromiso de desempeñar sus labores sin corrupción. “No es un saludo a la bandera, no quedará en letra muerta, no es un juramento para la tribuna, se va a cumplir estrictamente”, puntualizó.
Agregó, en ese sentido, que en su gestión no habrá espacio para compadrazgos ni para el pago de favores o cuotas políticas. “Está claro que el Estado no es del gobierno de turno, sino de todos los peruanos”, señaló la jefa de Estado.
De igual forma, dijo que el suyo será un gobierno de acción, el cual “ordenará la casa” y adoptará medidas concretas y efectivas en salud, educación, agua potable, agricultura, seguridad y reactivación económica para mejorar las condiciones de vida, en especial de los más vulnerables.
Al remarcar que la lucha frontal contra la corrupción e impunidad requiere la participación ciudadana, de las empresas privadas, medios de comunicación y poderes de Estado, la presidenta invocó a las autoridades regionales y locales electas a sumarse a la agenda anticorrupción.
“Trabajemos de la mano y con sentido de urgencia la agenda anticorrupción por un Perú íntegro y una república sin corrupción”, sostuvo.
Por su parte, Henry Ávila, presidente de la CAN, destacó la predisposición del gobierno de respaldar y disponer la ejecución de la propuesta de agenda anticorrupción, y adelantó que en los próximos días se añadirán algunas recomendaciones y sugerencias al documento.
La propuesta, explicó, tiene un conjunto de medidas sobre el fortalecimiento de la integridad de las instituciones públicas, la visión estratégica en la lucha contra corrupción y medidas para la canalización de las demandas ciudadanas.
La sesión extraordinaria de la CAN se llevó a cabo en Palacio de Gobierno con participación del jefe del Gabinete Ministerial, Alberto Otárola, la canciller Ana Cecilia Garvasi; el ministro de Justicia, José Tello; los titulares de Congreso, José Williams, y del Poder Judicial, Elvia Barrios; la defensora del Pueblo, Eliana Revollar; y el secretario ejecutivo del Acuerdo Nacional, Max Hernández.
Asimismo, el presidente de la Asamblea Nacional de Gobiernos Regionales, Jean Paul Benavente; la titular de la Cámara de Comercio de Lima, Rosa Bueno; el directivo ejecutivo de Proética, Samuel Rotta; y el director ejecutivo del Consejo de la Prensa Peruana, Rodrigo Salazar.

The president remarked that the frontal fight against corruption is one of the first items on the agenda of her administration, as it is an issue that causes millions in economic damage to Peru and generates citizen outrage.
As the Head of State remarked, a crisis cannot be overcome or the governability of a country redirected or recovered unless the plague of corruption is ended, facing it with clear and determined actions at all levels “whoever falls”.
“That is why my government receives the anti-corruption agenda with a sense of urgency, high responsibility, and a firm commitment to all Peruvians to correct past mistakes and build a trustworthy, honest, and fair country,” he emphasized.
In this work, he stressed, the Executive Power has a responsibility of the first order and, therefore, in the 21 days of his administration, important steps have been taken, such as the restructuring of the Presidential Office, in order to bring order and show transparent work.
“No more cabinets in the shadows,” said the dignitary after indicating that the team of ministers she leads will travel to the regions to solve the problems of the population that have not been addressed due to the confrontation.
In addition, he recalled that all his ministers were sworn in under the commitment to carry out their work without corruption. “It is not a salute to the flag, it will not remain a dead letter, it is not an oath to the rostrum, it will be strictly complied with,” he pointed out.
He added, in this sense, that in his management there will be no room for cronyism or for the payment of favors or political quotas. “It is clear that the State does not belong to the current government, but to all Peruvians,” said the head of state.
In the same way, he said that his will be a government of action, which will “order the house” and adopt concrete and effective measures in health, education, drinking water, agriculture, security and economic reactivation to improve living conditions, especially of the most vulnerable.
Remarking that the frontal fight against corruption and impunity requires the participation of citizens, private companies, the media and State powers, the president called on the regional and local elected authorities to join the anti-corruption agenda.
“Let’s work hand in hand and with a sense of urgency the anti-corruption agenda for a complete Peru and a republic without corruption,” he said.
For his part, Henry Ávila, president of the CAN, highlighted the government’s predisposition to support and order the execution of the proposed anti-corruption agenda, and announced that some recommendations and suggestions will be added to the document in the coming days.
The proposal, he explained, has a set of measures to strengthen the integrity of public institutions, the strategic vision in the fight against corruption, and measures to channel citizen demands.
