“También tiene que ser el año de las reformas políticas que permitan ir a unas elecciones generales libres y transparentes, donde todos los peruanos y peruanas podamos elegir a nuestras nuevas autoridades”, señaló la mandataria en mensaje.
La jefa de Estado remarcó que durante las tres semanas del gobierno de transición se han adoptado medidas para mejorar de manera inmediata las condiciones de vida de la población, mediante proyectos de infraestructura, alimentación y de combate a la pobreza.
A manera de ejemplo, citó el plan Con Punche Perú, que comprende 19 medidas a ser implementadas en el primer semestre de 2023, con alto componente social y productivo, y enfocadas en la reactivación económica a nivel nacional.
Ello, mencionó, demandará una inversión de 5,900 millones de soles y generará más de 130,000 empleos. Además, se fortalecerá la atención primaria en salud y se destrabará la culminación de hospitales regionales actualmente paralizados.
De igual forma, la dignataria aseguró la reactivación de proyectos emblemáticos como Chavimochic y Majes Siguas II, que suman una inversión de más de 1,300 millones de dólares; y medidas para garantizar que los escolares tengan un 2023 con adecuada infraestructura, alimentación y mayor conectividad a internet y otros servicios.
La presidenta afirmó que estas medidas, junto con el destrabe de proyectos de agua, siembra y cosecha y coordinación permanente con las nuevas autoridades regionales y locales, irán de la mano con la lucha frontal contra la corrupción.
“Asumí el gobierno por mandato constitucional y en circunstancias difíciles; sin embargo, tengo la más firme convicción de que con el apoyo y contribución de todos, hombres, mujeres, jóvenes, estudiantes, trabajadores, pymes, gremios, sociedad civil, colegios profesionales, universidades y comunidades campesinas, podremos darle un nuevo horizonte a la patria”, enfatizó.
La jefa de Estado subrayó que el Perú es más grande que sus problemas y expresó su confianza en que en el 2023 se lograrán las metas con paz y desarrollo.
“Cuando en el futuro se recuerde este momento, confiamos en que se dirá que nunca nos rendimos y que sentamos las bases para un Perú mejor. Tenemos que trabajar unidos, con el compromiso de sacar nuestra patria adelante, unámonos en un solo abrazo y corazón, digamos gracias por la vida, la paz y un futuro con esperanza”, dijo la dignataria.
“El pueblo peruano no es violento ni agresivo sino pacífico, solidario, valiente, pujante, que ama la paz y apuesta por el desarrollo”, añadió.

As an example, he cited the Con Punche Peru plan, which includes 19 measures to be implemented in the first half of 2023, with a high social and productive component, and focused on economic reactivation at the national level.
This, he mentioned, will require an investment of 5,900 million soles and will generate more than 130,000 jobs. In addition, primary health care will be strengthened and the completion of regional hospitals currently paralyzed will be unlocked.
Similarly, the dignitary ensured the reactivation of emblematic projects such as Chavimochic and Majes Siguas II, which add up to an investment of more than 1.3 billion dollars; and measures to guarantee that schoolchildren have a 2023 with adequate infrastructure, food and greater internet connectivity and other services.
The president affirmed that these measures, together with the unlocking of water, planting and harvesting projects and permanent coordination with the new regional and local authorities, will go hand in hand with the frontal fight against corruption.
“I assumed the government by constitutional mandate and in difficult circumstances; However, I have the firmest conviction that with the support and contribution of everyone, men, women, youth, students, workers, SMEs, unions, civil society, professional associations, universities and peasant communities, we will be able to give a new horizon to the homeland,” he emphasized.
The Head of State stressed that Peru is bigger than its problems and expressed her confidence that in 2023 the goals will be achieved with peace and development.
“When this moment is remembered in the future, we trust that it will be said that we never gave up and that we laid the foundations for a better Peru. We have to work together, with the commitment to move our country forward, let’s unite in a single hug and heart, let’s say thank you for life, peace and a future with hope”, said the dignitary.
“The Peruvian people are not violent or aggressive, but rather peaceful, supportive, brave, vigorous, who love peace and are committed to development,” he added.
