“Por nuestros pueblos olvidados, por todas las comunidades campesinas, por la unidad de las siete provincias, por la lucha frontal contra la corrupción y por los jóvenes que serán reivindicados en mi gestión, sí juro”, así aseguró el flamante Gobernador de Apurímac durante la ceremonia de asunción al cargo que contó con la participación de las nuevas autoridades apurimeñas y funcionarios de diferentes entidades.

Durante su discurso de orden, el Gobernador Regional invocó a todas las autoridades del ámbito de la región a trabajar de la mano y afianzar la labor en equipo con miras a alcanzar el desarrollo sostenido, además de articular acciones conjuntas orientadas a la ejecución de obras estratégicas que ayuden a mejorar las condiciones de vida de las familias apurimeñas.

Del mismo modo, indicó que una de las prioridades de su gestión será destrabar el proyecto de ejecución de la nueva infraestructura del Hospital Subregional de Andahuaylas, por lo que exhortó a realizar una labor coordinada con las autoridades, el gobierno central y la Contraloría General para hacer realidad esta obra muy anhelada por el pueblo apurimeño.

Asimismo, expresó que trabajará de manera incansable por el desarrollo del sector salud en los primeros 100 días de su administración, en agricultura, en la implementación de un proyecto de reforestación y en la ejecución de proyectos viales, en coordinación con las autoridades provinciales y las direcciones de Transportes y Comunicaciones de Apurímac y Chanka.

Es necesario remarcar que, durante la actividad protocolar, el Gobernador Percy Godoy tomó juramentó a la vicegobernadora Marisol Valer Miranda, y los nuevos consejeros regionales, quienes se comprometieron a unir esfuerzos y fortalecer el diálogo de manera permanente para atender las necesidades prioritarias de la población de esta parte del país.
