El encuentro que se prolongó por casi una hora se llevó a cabo en el despacho del titular del Parlamento. Participaron los legisladores Martha Moyano, Digna Calle y Alejandro Muñante, primera, segunda y tercer vicepresidente, respectivamente.
La delegación de la CIDH está conformada por Edgar Talón Orellana, vicepresidente de la CIDH y relator de Perú; María Claudia Pulido, secretaria Ejecutiva Adjunta de Monitoreo, Capacitación Técnica y Promoción de la CIDH; Fernanda Dos Anjos, coordinadora de la Sección de Medios Cautelares y Provisionales de la CIDH; Miguel Mesquita, coordinador de Monitoreo de Sudamérica y Laura Morelo, especialista.
Posteriormente, la comitiva de la CIDH se reunió de manera indistinta con representantes de las bancadas de Acción Popular, Perú Democrático, Podemos Perú, Perú Bicentenario y Fuerza Popular. Además, con el Bloque Magisterial de Concertación Nacional, Cambio Democrático-Juntos por el Perú, Alianza Para el progreso, Perú Libre, Somos Perú y los legisladores no agrupados.
