La gerenta de Manufacturas del gremio, Melissa Vallebuona, detalló que los rubros que sí lograron récords fueron el químico (US$ 2 mil 156 millones), la siderometalurgia (US$ 1,503 millones 802 mil) y metalmecánica (US$ 603 millones 550 mil), con crecimientos de 26.5%, 10.9% y 16.7%, respectivamente, en comparación al 2021 (enero-noviembre).

Sin embargo, las prendas de vestir (US$ 1,279 millones), textiles (US$ 446 millones 869 mil), y ‘varios’ (US$ 412 millones 492 mil) aún no superan sus montos más altos: prendas de vestir en el 2008 (US$ 1,612 millones 873 mil), textil en el 2014 (US$ 620 millones 787 mil), y ‘varios’ en el 2012 (US$ 645 millones 156 mil).

Vallebuona comentó que esta oferta se ve perjudicada por la crisis interna actual, pues las empresas enfrentan problemas para exportar adecuadamente: tienen mercadería retenida y sufren la cancelación de sus pedidos, lo cual afecta la imagen de nuestro país como proveedor confiable.

En este contexto –continuó– lo primordial es restablecer la calma para así recuperar la confianza ahora que se están anunciando medidas destinadas a lograr la recuperación de los sectores. “La resiliencia de las empresas es puesta a prueba de forma constante y se observa que las micro y pequeñas empresas son las más vulnerables”, apuntó.

Cifras del Sistema de Inteligencia Comercial ADEX Data Trade detallaron que el rubro más importante fue el químico con US$ 2 mil 156 millones 033 mil y un crecimiento de 26.5%, acumulando el 33.7% del total de envíos manufactureros.
