Pérez-Reyes Espejo es economista por la Universidad de Lima, tiene estudios de maestría en economía en el Centro de Investigación y Docencia Económica de México y es doctor en Economía en la Universidad de Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, España.

Anteriormente, se desempeñó como ministro de la Producción, viceministro de Energía, de Comunicaciones, directivo del Organismo Supervisor de la Inversión en Energía y Minas (Osinergmin), entre otros.

El nuevo ministro de la Producción juró desempeñar sus funciones sin cometer actos de corrupción.

Asistieron a la ceremonia el presidente del Consejo de Ministros, Alberto Otárola, y los ministros del Interior, Vicente Romero Fernández; de Defensa, Jorge Luis Chávez Cresta, y de Justicia y Derechos Humanos, José Tello Alfaro.

Pérez-Reyes Espejo is an economist from the University of Lima, has a master’s degree in economics from the Center for Economic Research and Teaching of Mexico and a PhD in Economics from the University of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, Spain.

Previously, he served as Minister of Production, Vice Minister of Energy, Communications, director of the Supervisory Agency for Investment in Energy and Mines (Osinergmin), among others.

The new Minister of Production swore to carry out his functions without committing acts of corruption.

The ceremony was attended by the President of the Council of Ministers, Alberto Otárola, and the Ministers of the Interior, Vicente Romero Fernández; Defense, Jorge Luis Chávez Cresta, and Justice and Human Rights, José Tello Alfaro.
