Durante el encuentro intergubernamental “Salud, compromiso de todos”, la mandataria detalló que, en una primera fase, la inversión llegará a 200 establecimientos hospitalarios y se completará a finales de 2023, en beneficio de más de diez millones de peruanos.

Junto a la ministra de Salud, Rosa Gutiérrez; el contralor Nelson Shack y 13 gobernadores regionales, la jefa de Estado afirmó que nunca como hoy la salud ha sido tan prioritaria en el país y ratificó su compromiso de trabajar firmemente en el cierre de brechas.

La actividad tuvo por objetivo fortalecer las alianzas estratégicas entre las autoridades del ámbito nacional y regional, con miras a objetivos de corto y mediano plazo, relacionados con un mejor servicio de salud para la población.

Durante sus participaciones, los gobernadores regionales coincidieron en la necesidad de mantener una labor coordinada en favor del desarrollo del país, y la importancia de que predomine un clima de paz, unidad y trabajo en conjunto.

En ese sentido, rechazaron los actos de violencia y subrayaron el interés por impulsar el cierre de brechas de la mano con el Ejecutivo.

El gobernador de Arequipa y titular de la Asamblea Nacional de Gobiernos Regionales, Rohel Sánchez, resaltó la alianza estratégica establecida con el Ejecutivo para atender la salud como una política de Estado, destrabar proyectos de hospitales de primer nivel y generar desarrollo en base al diálogo y la paz. “Los gobernadores estamos comprometidos con la mejora de la salud”, expresó.

Asistieron a la reunión, los gobernadores regionales de Arequipa, Rohel Sánchez; de Ayacucho, Wilfredo Oscorima; del Callao, Ciro Castillo; de Huánuco, Antonio Pulgar; de Ica, Jorge Hurtado; de La Libertad, César Acuña; de Lambayeque, Jorge Pérez; de Lima, Rosa Vásquez; de San Martín, Walter Grundel; de Pasco, Juan Chombo; de Piura, Luis Neyra; de Tumbes, Segismundo Cruces; y de Ucayali, Manuel Gambini.
