ADEX indicó que exportaciones de Pisco crecieron 44%, en enero y noviembre del 2022 sumaron US$ 9 millones 282 mil.

Fue durante la ceremonia con motivo del Día del Pisco Sour (se celebra el primer sábado de cada febrero) en la que manifestó la importancia de trabajar unidos para superar la actual crisis. “Estamos en una coyuntura muy compleja. Sabemos de las necesidades existentes en el país, pero la violencia no nos llevará a nada bueno”, comentó.

Refirió que los productores pisqueros –por Denominación de Origen se ubican en la zona sur del Perú, desde Lima a Tacna– sienten tensión y zozobra por los bloqueos de carreteras y adicionalmente hay preocupación por sus colaboradores quienes deben movilizarse para llegar a los centros de producción.

Se cerraron las vías de acceso en varios puntos del país –continuó la vocera– y tuvimos inconvenientes para distribuir el Pisco. La cadena de comercialización sufrió demoras. Se vieron casos en los que los productos no llegaron a tiempo a los restaurantes, supermercados, minimarkets, tiendas especializadas y otros.

PAZ Y DIÁLOGO
En opinión de la ministra de Desarrollo Agrario y Riego, Nelly Paredes, para seguir aumentando el consumo del Pisco a nivel local y posicionarlo más en los mercados internacionales, se necesita paz y diálogo.

“Entendemos los reclamos y las movilizaciones, pero lamentamos la violencia y que se perjudique el trabajo de miles de peruanos. Estamos haciendo un análisis para conocer con exactitud cuántos millones se han perdido a nivel del sector”, acotó.

El Pisco –añadió– ha escalado desde el campo hasta el mundo, esto gracias a la labor en equipo de todos los productores y comercializadores de esta bebida. Asimismo, hizo hincapié en la importancia del trabajo conjunto entre públicos y privados. “Como sector apostamos por los agricultores. En el caso de la uva tenemos el programa Agroideas, que desde el 2017 ha elaborado 30 planes de negocio”, señaló.

PROPÓSITO
Robatty indicó que los productores tienen el firme propósito de seguir trabajando y expresó su compromiso con la recuperación del país, para lo cual esperan fortalecer el diálogo con las autoridades a fin de avanzar en la agenda pendiente que apunta a fortalecer las capacidades de los integrantes de la cadena y llegar a más mercados,

En esa línea, el Comité de Pisco de ADEX, realiza una serie de acciones como la conmemoración del ‘Día del Pisco Sour’, cuya fecha es el primer sábado del mes de febrero de cada año. “Junto a las Damas del Pisco del Perú, Racimos del Sur y el Consorcio Premium Pisco Perú, organizamos esta actividad como una forma de seguir posicionando nuestra bebida bandera”, sostuvo.

CIFRAS
La ‘bebida bandera’ llegó principalmente a EE.UU. (US$ 3 millones 890 mil) con una participación del 42% y un alza de 15%. En el segundo puesto se ubicó España con US$ 979 mil 499, una concentración del 11% y un ascenso del 37%. Completaron el top ten Países Bajos (US$ 868 mil 669) con una representación de 9% y un incremento de 74%. Asimismo, resaltaron Bélgica, Francia, Reino Unido, Colombia, Alemania, Canadá y Ecuador.

El Pisco está hecho a base de uvas pisqueras y con él se puede elaborar deliciosos cócteles como el Pisco Sour y es usado además en la preparación de mistelas, cremas, macerados y brandy. En definitiva, tiene un nivel de calidad envidiable y está a la altura de los destilados internacionales más reconocidos.

EL DATO
Por Resolución Ministerial 161-2004-Produce, el 22 de abril del 2004 se instituyó el primer sábado de febrero de cada año como el ‘Día del Pisco Sour’ en el Perú.

Pisco -he added- has climbed from the countryside to the world, thanks to the teamwork of all the producers and marketers of this drink. Likewise, he stressed the importance of joint work between public and private sectors. “As a sector we are committed to farmers. In the case of grapes, we have the Agroideas program, which since 2017 has drawn up 30 business plans,” he said.
