“Mi Gobierno ha dispuesto una lucha frontal y decidida contra la alianza formada por el terrorismo y el narcotráfico en el Vraem y en todo el territorio nacional”, sostuvo.

En nombre de las peruanas y peruanos, la mandataria ofreció sus más profundas condolencias a las esposas, hijas, hijos, padres, madres y familiares de los siete héroes de la Nación que fallecieron en el cumplimiento del deber, en defensa de la seguridad, la paz, el desarrollo del país.

“Mi abrazo, mi cercanía, mi solidaridad, mi compasión en este momento difícil. Ustedes han entregado a la Patria una parte importante de sus vidas, a sus seres más queridos. El Perú entero reconoce a sus hijos que hoy están en la inmortalidad”, indicó.

En ese marco, la jefa de Estado expresó el más firme y contundente rechazo al accionar del narcoterrorismo en el país, y a todo acto de violencia que pretende arrebatar la vida, la salud, la integridad, así como el derecho a la paz, el progreso y el bienestar de las peruanas y peruanos.

A la ceremonia de homenaje póstumo, realizado en el Patio de Honor de la Dirección de Operaciones Especiales (Diroes), asistieron también el presidente del Consejo de Ministros, Alberto Otárola; el ministro del Interior, Vicente Romero; el comandante general de la Policía Nacional, Raúl Alfaro; familiares, amigos y compañeros de armas de los héroes de la institución policial.

“My hug, my closeness, my solidarity, my compassion at this difficult time. You have given an important part of your lives to the Homeland, to your loved ones. The whole of Peru recognizes its children who are today in immortality,” he said.

Within this framework, the Head of State expressed the firmest and forceful rejection of the actions of narco-terrorism in the country, and of any act of violence that seeks to take away life, health, integrity, as well as the right to peace, progress and the well-being of Peruvians.
