El equipo técnico verificó que un camión cisterna de la EPS Emapisco y dos de Emapa Cañete, gestionados por el Otass, así como otros dos de la EPS local están repartiendo agua potable segura para consumo humano en los distritos de Chincha Alta, Sunampe, Grocio Prado y Pueblo Nuevo, según horarios anunciados por la EPS Semapach en sus redes sociales.

Aunque aún no se restablece el servicio de agua potable, el Otass también confirmó que el nivel de turbidez del agua del río San Juan ha descendido, por lo cual han vuelto a operar las Galerías Filtrantes de Minaqueros. Además, tras la inspección técnica, se espera que la Planta de Tratamiento de Agua Potable de Portachuelo, luego de la limpieza que se viene realizando en sus instalaciones, pueda remover la turbidez en el más breve plazo. La empresa se vio obligada a cerrar las compuertas de dicha planta a fin de evitar el ingreso de lodo, piedras y palizadas.

Asimismo, los técnicos del Otass supervisaron los trabajos de encausamiento del río San Juan, específicamente en la zona de la captación que abastece del recurso a la PTAP Portachuelo, con lo cual se espera lograr una solución progresiva a la emergencia.

Ante esos problemas para la captación, con asistencia técnica del organismo adscrito al Ministerio de Vivienda, Construcción y Saneamiento (MVCS), la EPS está usando cinco pozos en su máxima capacidad para asegurar el llenado de reservorios.

PROYECTO INTEGRAL APUNTA A SER SOLUCIÓN
Está listo el expediente técnico del tercer componente del Programa de Medidas de Rápido Impacto PMRI II, de la EPS Semapach, relacionado al mejoramiento de la Galerías de Filtración de Minaqueros. La ejecución de esa tercera fase del proyecto integral ayudará a una mejor captación en época de turbidez. Se espera que la licitación pública para esa obra se inicie próximamente.

Todo el PMRI II será financiado por el MVCS mediante el Programa Nacional de Saneamiento Urbano (PNSU) y el Banco Frankfurt am Main (KFW). Solo el tercer componente costará S/6 millones.

Semapach es una de las 18 EPS a las que el Otass, brazo técnico ejecutor del Ministerio de Vivienda, brinda asistencia técnica y financiera para reflotarlas. El organismo también fortalece las gestiones empresariales de otras 30 EPS de accionariado municipal; y presta servicios en Tumbes a través de la Unidad Ejecutora 002 Agua Tumbes.

The technical team verified that a tanker truck from EPS Emapisco and two from Emapa Cañete, managed by Otass, as well as two others from the local EPS are distributing safe drinking water for human consumption in the districts of Chincha Alta, Sunampe, Grocio Prado and Pueblo Nuevo, according to schedules announced by the EPS Semapach on its social networks.

Although the potable water service has not yet been restored, the Otass also confirmed that the level of turbidity in the water of the San Juan River has dropped, for which reason the Minaqueros Filtering Galleries have returned to operation. In addition, after the technical inspection, it is expected that the Portachuelo Drinking Water Treatment Plant, after the cleaning that has been carried out in its facilities, will be able to remove the turbidity in the shortest possible time. The company was forced to close the floodgates of said plant in order to prevent the entry of mud, stones and palisades.

Likewise, the Otass technicians supervised the works of prosecution of the San Juan River, specifically in the catchment area that supplies the resource to the Portachuelo PTAP, with which it is expected to achieve a progressive solution to the emergency.

Faced with these collection problems, with technical assistance from the body attached to the Ministry of Housing, Construction and Sanitation (MVCS), the EPS is using five wells at their maximum capacity to ensure the filling of reservoirs.

COMPREHENSIVE PROJECT AIMES TO BE A SOLUTION
The technical file of the third component of the Rapid Impact Measures Program PMRI II, of the EPS Semapach, related to the improvement of the Mine Filtering Galleries, is ready. The execution of this third phase of the comprehensive project will help to better capture in times of turbidity. The public bidding for this work is expected to begin soon.

The entire PMRI II will be financed by the MVCS through the National Urban Sanitation Program (PNSU) and the Frankfurt am Main Bank (KFW). Only the third component will cost S/6 million.

Semapach is one of the 18 EPSs to which Otass, the executing technical arm of the Ministry of Housing, provides technical and financial assistance to refloat them. The organization also strengthens the business management of another 30 EPS of municipal shareholders; and provides services in Tumbes through the Executing Unit 002 Agua Tumbes.
