“First you have to remove the entire budget from all kinds of consultancies, definitely; Second, the Prosecutor’s Office and the Comptroller’s Office must intervene, because there has been a criminal organization that has organized to enter the State apparatus to take millions through consultancies,” said the head of the Budget Commission, in a statement to journalists and remarked that “There are ministers, ex-ministers, brothers, family, political parties.”

In the same way, Luna Gálvez maintained that the Minister of Education, Óscar Becerra, revealed in a session of the Budget Commission, that only in his sector millions of soles had disappeared in consultancies.

“We work our part. We are only responsible for auditing the budget – where have those millions of soles gone-; You will see the details of the information in the Executive.

OTHER SOURCES OF WASTE
However, the leader of Podemos Peru indicated that we should not also neglect the services category, through which millions of soles have also gone from the public budget and the budget of companies and autonomous state entities.

He recalled that there are cases of salaries of 50,000 soles to which must be added that he has boxes, per diems, representation expenses, among others, with which the real salary becomes about 100,000 soles per month.

“In Petroperú, regulatory bodies. For this reason, this year, we reached an agreement with the Minister of Economy so that the income from fines and sanctions is not used for personal use, but now goes to ordinary public resources and is distributed. We are doing everything possible to correct these deviations that have been made to some institutions that have salaries of 50,000 soles, but also that they also have 50,000 soles in the box, per diems and funds, “he said.

IN CONGRESS

“Personally, I do not agree with these expenses. When I entered politics, I gave up receiving salary or other income, personally, I do not go to the cafeteria, it is a personal decision. I see excessive spending, here in Congress,” he stressed and said, “We are going through a very complicated situation for the country and we all have to put our share, a grain of sand, austerity.”

ADVANCE OF ELECTIONS
On the other hand, parliamentarian José Luna Gálvez ratified his approach to advance elections, and maintained that the only solution to return to sustained growth of at least 5% of GDP and for the generation of new jobs, is for Peruvians to have the opportunity to elect new authorities.

“There are thousands of young people who do not have a single job opportunity, and what does that mean? Crime, and total misrule as a country. The only solution to return to growth at 5% of GDP is for the country to have the opportunity to elect new authorities and for private companies to start investing in the country,” he explained.

Similarly, he did not hesitate to criticize former President Pedro Castillo, for breaking the rule of law; however, he also demanded that parliamentarians and the media must assume their responsibility in the current situation.

“Shining Path reactivated, leftist movements reactivated in the south, that is why we must act with greater political responsibility and defend democracy and the social market economy,” he said.
