Chalaneros y artesanos de Paita reciben ayuda humanitaria del programa de Servicios Humanitarios de la Iglesia de Jesucristo.

El día Domingo 5 de Setiembre en horas de la tarde, se efectuó la entrega formal de los alimentos en el coliseo municipal “Tomas Tomasada Cobos” que está ubicado en el jirón Junín de la ciudad de Paita.

Los alimentos que fueron formalmente entregados por Paul Martínez Piucan, líder local de la Iglesia de Jesucristo en Paita, consistieron en 180 bolsas de alimentos que contenían leche evaporada, harina preparada, avena, grated de atún en aceite vegetal, lentejas, azúcar, aceite vegetal, fideos, y arroz: Cada bolsa con un peso de 15 kilos.

Asistió a la entrega el Licenciado Enrique Silva Zapata, Alcalde Provincial de Paita quien agradeció a la Iglesia de Jesucristo por la donación, indicando que la municipalidad está comprometida en realizar un trabajo articulado para beneficio de la comunidad.

También estuvo presente el ingeniero Feliz Zambrano Rosas, Gerente de Desarrollo Económico Local y Turismo quien mencionó que la donación es una ayuda importante para los sectores que se paralizaron debido a la pandemia del COVID-19.

Paul Martínez asistió acompañado de Rogelio Quiroga Coello, Juan Manuel Chero Piñin, líderes locales de la Iglesia de Jesucristo y de Pamela Gonzales Moran, Directora de Comunicación en Paita. Expresó que la ayuda brindada es gracias a las ofrendas de los miembros de la Iglesia que se solidarizan con la comunidad.

Los representantes de las asociaciones que recibieron la donación, José Seminario de los Chalaneros y Tomasa Correa de Imán agradecieron a la Iglesia de Jesucristo por su aporte a la comunidad y su mensaje de amor y de servicio al prójimo.

La donación es parte de la iniciativa de ayuda humanitaria que realiza la Iglesia de Jesucristo en su misión de servicio a las personas vulnerables, especialmente las afectadas por la actual pandemia del coronavirus.
