Carlos Augusto Ramos Núñez además de magistrado de este alto tribunal del país, era el director general del Centro de Estudios Constitucionales.
CARLOS AUGUSTO RAMOS NÚÑEZ
Nace en Arequipa el 15 de septiembre de 1960, hijo del historiador puneño Augusto Ramos Zambrano y sobrino materno del pintor arequipeño Teodoro Núñez Ureta. Hizo sus estudios primarios en el Colegio San Juan Bautista y la Gran Unidad Escolar San Carlos, ambos de Puno, finalizando los secundarios en el Colegio La Salle de Arequipa.
Fue un jurista, escritor e historiador del derecho peruano. Su producción bibliográfica, en el campo de la historia del derecho, encierra la memoria jurídica del Perú de los siglos XIX y XX.12 Fue director de la Academia de la Magistratura del Perú en el año 2004.
Fue elegido magistrado del Tribunal Constitucional del Perú para el período 2014-2019 por el Congreso de la República, en donde, por unanimidad, fue designado director general del Centro de Estudios Constitucionales, órgano académico del Tribunal Constitucional.
ESTUDIOS
Siguió estudios de literatura en la Universidad Nacional de San Agustín y de derecho en la Universidad Católica de Santa María, de la que se graduó en 1984. Formó parte de la primera promoción de la maestría en derecho civil de la Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú en 1987, bajo la asesoría de Fernando de Trazegnies preparó la tesis “Toribio Pacheco, jurista peruano del siglo XIX”, que publicó el Fondo editorial de la PUCP en 1993.
En 1992 ganó una beca a Italia para estudiar en la Universidad La Sapienza de Roma, y con el patrocinio del profesor Sandro Schipani, participó en proyectos de investigación para la Universidad Tor Vergata de Roma hasta 1995. En Lima obtuvo el grado de Doctor en Derecho en la PUCP, sustentando en 1999 la tesis “Las columnas de la ley: Historia Social del Derecho Peruano. Siglos XIX y XX”.

Carlos Augusto Ramos Núñez, in addition to being a magistrate of this high court in the country, was the general director of the Center for Constitutional Studies.
CARLOS AUGUSTO RAMOS NÚÑEZ
He was born in Arequipa on September 15, 1960, the son of Puno historian Augusto Ramos Zambrano and maternal nephew of Arequipa painter Teodoro Núñez Ureta. He did his primary studies at the Colegio San Juan Bautista and the Gran Unidad Escolar San Carlos, both in Puno, finishing high school at the Colegio La Salle in Arequipa.
He was a jurist, writer and historian of Peruvian law. His bibliographic production, in the field of the history of law, contains the legal memory of Peru in the 19th and 20th centuries.1 2 He was director of the Academy of the Judiciary of Peru in 2004.
He was elected magistrate of the Constitutional Court of Peru for the period 2014-2019 by the Congress of the Republic, where, unanimously, he was appointed general director of the Center for Constitutional Studies, an academic body of the Constitutional Court.
STUDIES
He studied literature at the National University of San Agustín and law at the Catholic University of Santa María, from which he graduated in 1984. He was part of the first class of the master’s degree in civil law at the Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú In 1987, under the advice of Fernando de Trazegnies, he prepared the thesis “Toribio Pacheco, 19th century Peruvian jurist”, which was published by the Editorial Fund of the PUCP in 1993.
In 1992 he won a scholarship to Italy to study at the La Sapienza University of Rome, and with the sponsorship of Professor Sandro Schipani, he participated in research projects for the Tor Vergata University of Rome until 1995. In Lima he obtained the degree of Doctor of Law in the PUCP, supporting in 1999 the thesis “The columns of the law: Social History of Peruvian Law. XIX and XX centuries”.
