La cita tendrá lugar en el distrito de San Borja.

El encuentro se desarrollará en el marco de las labores del grupo de trabajo de naturaleza temporal para proponer acciones que permitan atender las principales demandas de las comunidades campesinas del Corredor Vial Sur, de la provincia de Chumbivilcas, del departamento de Cusco. Cabe recordar que este grupo de trabajo fue creado por la Presidencia del Consejo de Ministros, mediante resolución de la Secretaría de Gestión Social y Diálogo N.° 0011-2021-PCM/SGSD.

De esta manera, se da cumplimiento a los acuerdos firmados en el acta de la reunión realizada en la provincia cusqueña de Chumbivilcas el último 29 de setiembre, a través de la cual las comunidades campesinas levantaron su medida de lucha, en el marco de las conversaciones sostenidas con la empresa Las Bambas, articuladas y promovidas por el Poder Ejecutivo.

Asistirán a la reunión los titulares de las carteras de Energía y Minas, Iván Merino, y del Ambiente, Rubén Ramírez.

La Presidencia del Consejo de Ministros reafirma su compromiso de articular acciones para lograr las soluciones pertinentes a las demandas de la población. Asimismo, hace un llamado a todas las partes a lograr un acuerdo que beneficie a las comunidades campesinas, a la empresa y todo el país.
