Hospital COVID-19 de Arequipa recibe ayuda humanitaria de la Iglesia de Jesucristo, informaron voceros Santos de los Últimos Días.

El día Jueves 26 de Agosto en horas de la tarde, se efectuó la entrega formal de los alimentos en el almacén de alimentos del hospital regional Honorio Delgado Espinoza con la asistencia del doctor Richard Hernández Mayori, Director General del Hospital, de Noel Herrera Pantigoso, Jefe del Almacén General y de la licenciada Delia Ruth Alpaca Díaz, Jefa del departamento de Nutrición y Dietética.

Los alimentos entregados consistieron en 120 sacos de 50 Kg de arroz, 20 sacos de 50 Kg de azúcar, 1,440 bolsas de 280 gr avena, 280 six packs de leche evaporada, 10 cajas de 48 x 170 gr de grated de atún en aceite vegetal, 80 bolsas de 5 Kg de trigo mote, 50 bolsas de 5 Kg de lentejas, 60 bolsas de 5 Kg de frejoles, 900 paquetes de 1 Kg de fideos, 360 bolsas de 1 Kg de sal de cocina y 365 botellas de 1 Lt de aceite vegetal.

El doctor Richard Hernández expresó su profundo agradecimiento a la Iglesia de Jesucristo por la donación de productos alimenticios para el departamento de nutrición que servirán para la preparación de las dietas de los pacientes internados en el hospital, reconociendo con el noble gesto su solidaridad con el trabajo del personal médico y los pacientes que luchan por su vida día a día sobre todo en estos momentos de emergencia.

La donación es parte de la iniciativa de ayuda humanitaria que realiza la Iglesia de Jesucristo en su misión de servicio a las personas vulnerables, especialmente las afectadas por la actual pandemia del coronavirus.

Dr. Richard Hernández expressed his deep gratitude to the Church of Jesus Christ for the donation of food products for the nutrition department that will be used to prepare the diets of patients admitted to the hospital, acknowledging with the noble gesture their solidarity with the work of medical personnel and patients who fight for their day-to-day lives especially in these times of emergency.
