La entrega formal de esta donación consistente en 600 bolsas de alimentos y 600 cajas de agua de 20 Litros, la realizó el jueves 30 de Diciembre en el local del almacén nacional del INDECI ubicado en la avenida Argentina, Callao, Johel Valdivia Manrique, líder local de la Iglesia de Jesucristo en Lima, acompañado de los misioneros de servicio Hanke y Walter Bobadilla Sánchez, Director de Comunicación de la Iglesia en Perú.
El General de Brigada EP Carlos Yáñez Lazo, Jefe del Instituto de Defensa Civil, agradeció la donación mencionando que será de gran ayuda para los damnificados por el sismo de 7.5 ocurrido en el nororiente del Perú.
Johel Valdivia recordó que desde los más humildes miembros de la Iglesia de Jesucristo contribuyen a hacer posible la donación de ayuda humanitaria y que la Iglesia es parte de la comunidad y tiene el compromiso social de ayudar a quienes enfrentan situaciones de gran necesidad.
Cada bolsa con 15 kilos de alimentos de primera necesidad contenían: Leche evaporada, harina preparada, avena, grated de atún en aceite vegetal, lentejas, azúcar, aceite, fideos y arroz.
