El Hospital María Auxiliadora es el centro de salud más importante de Lima Sur y uno de los más importantes de Lima Metropolitana y está acreditado de Tercer Nivel como Hospital Nacional Docente de Alta Complejidad y trabaja arduamente atendiendo a pacientes afectados por la COVID-19.
El martes 30 de Noviembre, a las 11.30 a.m. se efectuó la entrega formal de los equipos médicos consistentes en un ventilador mecánico con turbina y pantalla táctil para la unidad de cuidados intensivos adultos y pediátricos, 2 sistemas respiratorios de alto flujo con humidificación y calefactor, un monitor multiparámetro, 4 vacuómetros, 4 balones de oxígeno de 10 m3 con carro porta balón, 4 flujómetros de oxígeno y 2 oxímetros de pulso de mesa, que servirán para fortalecer la capacidad de respuesta y la atención oportuna a la población.
Luis Alberto Martínez Cosquillo, líder local de la Iglesia de Jesucristo en San Juan de Miraflores al momento de la entrega expresó: “El día de hoy es el comienzo de la Campaña Ilumina el Mundo con Amor y es una importante oportunidad para servir a nuestro prójimo”.
La Dra. Susana Oshiro Kanashiro, Directora General del Hospital María Auxiliadora tuvo palabras de agradecimiento emotivas; “Siento profunda satisfacción y agradecimiento con ustedes, al brindarnos su ayuda para así poder atender mejor a los pacientes en medio de esta pandemia, que nuestro Señor los bendiga en vuestra labor”.
Acompañaron a Luis Martínez en la breve ceremonia de donación Johel Valdivia, Edwin Orihuela, Alex Arangiotia y Jorge Torres de la oficina de Bienestar y Autosuficiencia de la Iglesia de Jesucristo, así como el Dr. Jorge Cohelo Vásquez, Director Adjunto del Hospital María Auxiliadora.
La donación es parte de la iniciativa de Ayuda Humanitaria que realiza la Iglesia de Jesucristo en su misión de servicio a las Instituciones que velan por la salud en medio de esta pandemia del coronavirus.

The María Auxiliadora Hospital is the most important health center in South Lima and one of the most important in Metropolitan Lima and is accredited as a Third Level High Complexity National Teaching Hospital and works hard caring for patients affected by COVID-19.
On Tuesday, November 30, at 11.30 a.m. the formal delivery of the medical equipment was made, consisting of a mechanical ventilator with turbine and touch screen for the adult and pediatric intensive care unit, 2 high-flow respiratory systems with humidification and heating, a multiparameter monitor, 4 vacuum gauges, 4 cuffs of 10 m3 oxygen with a balloon cart, 4 oxygen flow meters and 2 table pulse oximeters, which will serve to strengthen the response capacity and timely care for the population.

Luis Martínez was accompanied in the brief donation ceremony by Johel Valdivia, Edwin Orihuela, Alex Arangiotia and Jorge Torres from the Office of Well-being and Self-Sufficiency of the Church of Jesus Christ, as well as Dr. Jorge Cohelo Vásquez, Deputy Director of the María Auxiliadora Hospital.
The donation is part of the Humanitarian Aid initiative carried out by the Church of Jesus Christ in its mission of service to the Institutions that ensure health in the midst of this coronavirus pandemic.
